Why would a coach require even the parents to follow him? I'm a newbie to Instagram, but don't see the point in that. And it's crazy and wrong on all levels for a coach to ask that of the kids.

I agree. Thank god he only asked the mom's to follow him and not the dad's. I don't have enough time to fool with it.

That's classic....I'll need all the mom's to submit photo's to my instagram and then I will decide the starting lineup.

I don't see a problem with doing full body shots. We all did lots of body shots in college... don't deny it. At least those of us who went to college! LoL I have limes, who has some Tequila?!

I guess you can submit those photo's to your coaches instagram also.

If this is the team I think it is....I've seen those mom's...the drinks might be more for the coach to fully engage his beer goggles.

My question is what if the parents of the players don't allow Instagram for their child? No coach I am paying is going to require my child do something I don't allow.

OK, I don't see a need for instagram for teams. We use Team Snap for the team and communicate that way. If we have pictures, we can share them on that site for the whole team. My feeling is if you can't share something with the whole team and parents, then it probably shouldn't be shared at all.

We are TeamSnap users too. It's a great way to track availability, send reminders and share photos. It also allows for users to keep in touch with email but without giving out everyone personal email or phone number.
