Should CPP be changed? Poll

Interested to get feedback on CPP, given a poster or two who think that the "vast majority of parents" are for it in its current form.

Please vote in this poll versus that Tiki-taki one, because this one is less un-scientific than the tacky one and because this one has better questions than the simple ones posted by Tiki. Plus, I am already retired and have nothing to do all day but sit here and watch the ever-changing poll results.

Actually there is only one poster, that would be me. But thank you though. Wait, was that last sentence proper? Probably not. By the way, I am on record for modified CPP.

I was trying not to out or pick on one particular poster.  Plus, I felt it added more credibility to say multiple people think that way.

This is just silly. if my kid is better than yours she should play on any team in the club that needs a win.

Well crap.....I gotta go back to school. I had no clue that 16% is equivalent to a vast majority.

You should probably stick to the ref bashing threads.

1. I'll post where I please and I will not be checking with you to see if it's OK. Feel free to do the same.

2. Your post seems to contradict itself.
It begins by stating that CPP is being abused and will continue to be abused. Then you immediately jump to the illogical conclusion that the vast majority support this rule and by extension, it's abuse.

3. I don't believe anything close to a vast majority support the abuse of any rule and certainly not this rule. Quite the opposite, I believe the vast majority recognize that CPP is a power grab, by the powerful, for the benefit of the powerful.

4. I find it very interesting that the boys CLASSIC LEAGUE also has a CPP rule and they also claim the rule is intended to enhance development, but in the boys league they expressly prohibit exactly what is going on in the girls league.

5. You are also correct that it has been discussed ad nauseum. I believe that is because the "actual vast majority" are amazed and infuriated that the very people that are responsible for insuring that we have a level playing field, have bent over backwards to tilt the field toward the money.

6. I'm not buying the "might makes right" argument.

Time to do something about CPP!
