State Cup Schedules

Wow! Looks like a team dropped out but they also changed the seeding? What's up with that?

I vaguely remember this FC LUBBOCK COMETS 96 doing this before?
They sign up and then drop out or don't show at all. They did this in the 98's last year.

yeah last year Lubbock ran from the swine flu. Should they not be allowed to register again? So a team drops from the A bracket and they swap teams from the C&D bracket? Makes no sense to me

Lubbock has more than one club, The Lubbock Lonestar teams will be at State cup, but your right Lubbock Comets seem to run and hide when they know they are in for a beating.

and here we have been arguing back and forth about brackets...now Sting has to play 2 games to advance. You would think that since they were adjusting and fine tuning these brackets they would correct all the wrongs.....NOT

IMO, Sting fared pretty well with the Lubbock team dropping out. Not because Sting doesn't have to play the Lubbock team...I think they would've have proven to be little more than a cone drill....so no loss there. But now Sting doesn't have to play Solar Blue. If Sting has their 'stuff' together, SB probably wouldn't have been an issue. But, if their 'stuff' is not together...SB could have presented some problems. Guess we'll never know.

Texans' group got a little tougher, but I don't see Brackets C or D materially affected.

NTX did the right thing by re-bracketing. Even though it would seem logicial to just leave things the way they were, that would have left Sting (the #1 seed) with the toughest bracket...and that wouldn't have been fair.

enjoysoccer....I'll pull the polls out of the forum, if you'd like, and you can set up new ones for the new brackets. Let me know, otherwise I'll leave them in place.
