Any 07 Interest in the Dec 12-14 LP tourney?

Wanted to see which 07 teams are considering signing up for the Dec 12-14 LP tourney? I think the deadline is approaching but I have not seen much regarding this tourney??

So FCD, lfs....any others? Given this is LP tourney I would assume LP teams would be signing up?

Maybe coaches don't want two games scheduled at the same time at different locations then have to forfeit one of them!

(Only saying that because the last LP tournament I entered, one of my teams had a game starting 10 minutes before their first game had ended, at a different field! We had to beg, beg, beg to get it changed and then they rescheduled it smack bang in the middle of two other games, at a different location.)

Maybe we can all sign up for the next solar tournament. or the one you direct... o that's right both of those will never happen. As one who has run a event it is not always perfect but speaking from my experience Sonja (the TD for LP) is awesome to work with you and bends over backwards to help and work with all the teams. No doubt you were perfect and it was all her fault... run back up to the view seats and enjoy the view without ever having to do the work...

I had 4 teams enter. 16 group games. I expected SOME CONFLICTS. I had 14! After myself and my managers contacted everybody we could, it got reduced to 12 conflicts. Oh, then the semis. Every semi for the girls teams were at the same time so 3 of my 4 teams who made the semis had conflicting games.

It doesn't take a genius to figure that when you run a tournament, you schedule the games for coaches who have multiple teams entered first to minimize conflicts and then finish with the coaches who only have one team entered as they obviously won't have any conflicts. You'd think that would be scheduling 101 and with the exception of the previous LP tournament we did 18 months prior to that, that's how every tournament I have entered in 14 years has attempted to operate. That doesn't mean schedules are always perfect but at least the organizers have communicated quickly on the whole and tried to be accommodating. Take Dominic for example, that guy has bent over backwards to help across the years and although he messes up every now and then, he at least has the decency to call, email and admit mistakes.

- But let's look at if I'd only entered my oldest team. Any games Friday night? Nope. A game at 8am and 9.20am (on different fields) and then 8.30pm? Yep. The next game scheduled for 11.30am on Sunday with the semi scheduled at 12.30pm? Yep.
- Or, let's look at the U7 bracket. Game at 8.30pm on a Friday night? Yep. Game at 7.30am and 8.30am on Saturday morning (again on different fields)? Yep. Next game at 11am on Sunday with the semi scheduled for 12.30pm? Yep.

Sorry if your standards are so low that you believe teams who pay $600 should expect that type of treatment but many other coaches (including other LP coaches) who had multiple teams, or even one team, had the same complaints and said they and their parents were furious with the club.

Everybody knows on here who you are and why it's so obvious every post is pro-LP but part of that 'Liverpool way' should be admitting when you mess up and apologizing and at no point did that happen with the scheduling to myself or the parents who paid top dollar to what was then, their own club. Still, you continue jumping all over these boards on every coach or parent who ever has an issue with your club (on various occasions as check able by your post history calling them 'idiots', etc. when they dare to have a difference of opinion).
