Select and Rec Simultaneously?

Hi,

I have a question that I get different answers with every person that I ask.  My DD wants to play Select and Rec soccer at the same time.  She currently plays Select.  Is this allowed?  

If the answer is Yes or No, can you give me the link where can I verify this information?

It's a question of where she plays, and what organization sanctions the league.

NTSSA is the sanctioning body for the majority of the youth soccer leagues in NTX.  This includes LHGCL, PPL, and APL on the "select" side, and pretty much all of the municipality sponsored rec leagues (PYSA, ASA, GLASA, etc...).

Your DD can NOT register as a competitive player with NTSSA and play for a team in one of the "select" leagues mentioned above, and simultaneously play rec soccer in an NTSSA sanctioned rec league in the same soccer year (August-July).

However, there are some organizations, PSA being the largest in the area, that operate outside of the purview of NTSSA (PSA and PYSA are separate entities - PSA is a private entity, PYSA is associated with City of Plano).  Your DD can play in PSA while also playing on a select team in LHGCL/PPL/APL.
