Just like old times...just missing a few pages and a RASE debate and defense.

LFS Black played RASE very close and if it is true they had 5 White players playing then that is rather impressive. I would imagine the LH game will see LFS Black at its full strength so should be a great matchup.
IMO RASE looks to be transitioning to a quite more direct style of play recently and does not pass the ball around teams like days of yore. I could be wrong but I think this change has lessened their prior advantage a little and helped to close the gap therefore allowing more physical teams to compete. Just my take but it should be a great spring season with so many talented kids on many good teams. Fun age to enjoy our kids sports!

Right on. I'm just glad her first year has been going great for her and her team. This summer shouldnt be as hectic as the last. Or will it.

btw it was black plus the white players not instead of. But just so we are clear, what you are saying is that the players from white are not help at all, they are infact a heavy weight around the neck of the black team dragging them down. If that is the case I really do hope we get to face the full strength black team without those other kids in their way. Maybe the parents from black should request that they want to play that game with no hel... umm I mean no extra kids in the way. just the kids on the origional black roster.

And i really hope we aren't transitioning to anything more of a going back to our old ways so I would say the team is a "work in progress" Because direct style is just coach speak for kickball

they really should. And remember I didn't say it a couple of others did. I said the white players help improve the team (thats why jk uses them) but was told emphatically that I was wrong on that account.

they didn't just decide to pass around teams LESS and play more direct. it becomes harder and harder to dominate as they get older

yeah as the other kids finally start to hit puberty too, lol

I remember when kickball was coveted during recess now everyone hates it....go back to your foundation and stop being all soccer sadity....embrace kickball, it's your roots!!

Some teams are pretty good at the kickball style of play. Let them stick around late enough in the game and boom they get one in on ya.

I said, "No it wouldn't have been worse." That's where you were half wrong. Did they help us? Yes. Would it have been worse without them? No.

My opinion was that the players brought in from white are capable of and did make a positive impact in the game. I believe they raise the overall level of athleticism in the black team. But that is my opinion and it is apparently not shared by others

Oh lord. I feel like I'm talking to my wife. I appreciate your tenacity but at the end of the day nobody gives a rats behind. We lost 1-0. That pretty much sums it up. If the White girls stayed home that night it prolly still be 1-0. Maybe we'll do better next time. Neither team did a whole lot anyway. Next time it might mean a little more.

I agree neither team really did too much but no next time won't mean any more. It's just 11yr old girl soccer and it's barely watchable
