Michael Brown Tournament

Anyone with an idea how the teams will be grouped? Does coah requests factor in? Try and put teams in competitive groups? Random draw?

Depends on how many go into gold bracket, top 6 teams in this age range would be Webb, Grubbs, Dynamo, Defeeters, Polaris, Renfro. If you go 8 teams you could add Vigil and someone else.

I'm surprised that Feet are in Gold while DT Moreno is in Silver. But there has been turmoil in that Bennett now Moreno camp. I wonder how many Higgys will show up on that Moreno squad this weekend. Higgy is idle that weekend, right? Polaris has been playing well too and might have had an argument for the Gold slot vs Feet, but Feet had a good tourney late in the Fall vs top teams. It does make sense to do Gold/Silver/Bronze when there are no playoffs. This is a 4 game friendly format, winner based on points, right?

I totally agree! Possibly could have been two divisions Gold/Silver?

They should definitely switch Moreno and Renfro. No need for two FCD teams to play each other. Plus Moreno team will be destroying teams in the silver, they will be stacked with Higgy players. What's the fun of that?

You sound pretty sure about DT Moreno! Thinking Polaris and Vigil are going to be surprising some folks with new additions......

Polardad I'm very sure. It's a team full of ex- Glotz players and Rowdies. Come on now. I'm sure Vigil and Polaris have gotten better, but trust me you don't won't none of that. It could get ugly.

Of couse they do, thats how they crack the top 5. With ten year old girls, anything can happen.

Werd is no and with this information a few of these Moreno players are higgys to they are just making the remainin Moreno parents feel a bit mor secure

I am sure Moreno will be fine...Higgy can only carry 18 girls right? They may flip flop a few girls but looks like enough if you made a few good additions to a very strong core ... they should still be a top competitive team.

It's gonna be fun seeing if Polardad can back up his cocky predictions.

pretty cocky concidering they have lost and bairly beat a 03 team in eal last year but we shall see this year.we will give you the benifit of the dought this year.

Cut the guy some slack, he's just excited about the growth of his team, nothing wrong with being a proud dad. The next 5 months will be telling for everyone.

Both the tournament schedule and the FBR rankings are out, just in time to test the forums members regarding their powers of prediction.
