Only 2 in the quarters, well 3 total if you count the final. Just guesses really. I'm not associated with any of the top teams. Let's put it this way...I own a full Purple Ponies kit.

Re: 2015 LHGCL Spring Roundup Predictions
Bracket B was a little more competitive than expected - 2-0 being the largest score gap. I'm sure it was the "game of inches" tipping in the other direction but at the end of the day, all we see are the scores and these scores were all close in this bracket. Bet it was a fun weekend to watch for these teams.
Bracket E, although a smaller bracket, has a DIII team keeping up with a DI team as well. Bracket C got the benefit of two DIII teams so something was going to break there and one of the DIII teams was gonna get a win, however, 2-0 was the lowest point gap in that bracket so it seems the DIII teams were not as closely matched to the DI teams in this bracket as Bracket B. I give Bracket B the win for most competitive bracket across the board even though the final teams will likely not come from that Bracket.

Probably rust. I've noticed a bit more success from direct styles in winter tournaments. There are always exceptions but typically it takes a bit of time after a break for possession teams to gel again.

I guess that assessment is relative.
TD couldn't (or wouldn't) create gold / silver brackets - and got the results that generally could be expected.
DIII teams were 0-14-2 against D1 opponents.
They were also outscored 46-3.

Keep your heads up LP Rush we were locked into your game. We were playing on field 6. You girls should be proud they way you took it to elite. Too bad the mistake on time wasn't rectified. Good news is for all of us except Solar is Sir Weddall will be with Solar after April 1st to take his teams to an ECNL club. Pay attention Peter Brody, owner of LP, its pulpanek all over again. Great tourney Rush and good luck transferring to the new club

Wait LW is moving to Solar? Does that mean his 03s, 04s and possibly TD 05s would follow him? Now that would be interesting?

You just trying to rationalize one of your poor predictions, lol? And what do you mean by "got the benefit of two DIII teams", you trying to suggest that was a weaker bracket? And what about "2-0 was the lowest point gap in that bracket", because that 2-0 score was the score of the game between the two DIII teams, so just trying to understand what relevance that has with the point you're trying to make?

Re: 2015 LHGCL Spring Roundup Predictions
Huh? I was 75/25 on my predictions for the QTs - both LP teams landed right where we all expected and I think DT Scott made it as well. The only team not to make it was TXS - thought they would do better based on their ranking. Yes, is the answer to #2 based on the numbers I'm seeing online. And yes again to #3. So I guess my statement wasn't as cryptic as you made it sound cause you hit them all right on the head... Was there a reason you decided to rehash the obvious and restate it in your own words?KnKsDad wrote:HeadHaunter wrote:Looks like a couple of the DIII teams competed well in this tournament with some of the DI teams.
