The curriculum that DFW Fitness Agility and Speed Training offers is not only enjoyable, but very challenging and demanding. The athletes will learn how to stretch properly so they can increase their range of motion and help avoid injury. Only after a great stretch and warm up do we get into our FAST curriculum. Fitness days consist of endurance runs of 2+ miles, strength training, and balance exercises. Agility days start with stretching, warm up, and core exercises and then we move to agility drills with and without a ball. Speed days start the same way with stretching warm up, and core, then we move to speed training. Here the athletes will learn how to run properly and utilize training to help them increase their speed. For those that want weight training, we offer that as well in an indoor setting at a weight lifting gym. Youth sports today are overly competitive. With social media, chat boards, and 24 hour sports channels we find ourselves in an environment where we have to be better if we are going to compete at the top level. This is why DFW Fitness Agility and Speed Training should become a part of your training curriculum. As important as it is for us to learn “on the ball” with our teams, it is equally as important for all athletes to develop better fitness, agility, and speed so they can play their best and reach their goals. DFW Fitness Agility and Speed training offers a curriculum for athletes involved in all sports at all levels. From the beginner to the expert can help all athletes to get better results. All of our group sessions will be held at McPhearson Park in Colleyville, TX. All of the sessions are hosted by a certified personal trainer with certificates in speed and agility and youth fitness.
