I am thinking maybe we shouldn't be sleeping on those teams out west.  I know I have completely overlooked them myself when thinking about teams and they are looking better all the time.  I see three westerners that can make some noise come Summer (the following is completely ignorant editorial gathered solely from heresay and conjecture and has no scientific basis):

Texans Molano - Only watched them once but they seem to be scrappy and hanging in games.  Really talented bunch of girls.  They gain a little confidence and could turn a corner.  Their results indicate they are certainly good enough aganst the 7+ ranked teams (RASE B team, Fever, St Parsons, etc.).  Although, they seem to be slowly losing good players one at a time...nutty parents perhaps?  WM is said to be a good offensive-minded coach.  I wold imagine as signing gets closer they will have some needed bodies arrive to fill out what look to be a good team.  All Hail Ryan Davis should be their mantra!

Fever - Tatonka was right, I was suprised by their weekend line too.  In retrospect, I am not sure why we were.  Fever has been quietly building impressive results.  They made it far in a couple of tourneys and have a lot of talented kiddos.  KP is said to be a good developer...maybe they will turn some of the early football tackling/hack a Shaq reputation into a flowing style.  Physical AND skilled can be a nasty combo.  Keep it up!

Texans West - IMO this is the new player in the FBR.  I think this team will shock some folks.  MW is supposed to be a good coach and i understand this is a mix of a few Texans West, some good Texans Molano players that molano parents ran off, and a big part of the solar group that had their coach quit on them.  Looking at their early results they seem quite potent!  Never seen them in person yet but interested to see them gel and what they can do.  [I think you mean STING West.  And just to be clear, the Solar coach didnt quit, too many other players quit!  MW is a great coach!   ]
