No idea- I was just talking about this from a very high level. Just saying given the changes having several teams in the age group provides flexibility in whatever direction the club/parents choose to go.

Your my boy blue! Only today though since they signed Pedro! I cried a little on the inside when I read that...

Under the current rules most of the top teams are front loaded with the 05's. First time they play a tournament with an age pure roster of younger kids and get steamrolled by an age pure team loaded with January to July dd's, those parents will scream for changes. I'm actually fond of the change, my days of having the youngest kid on the field are coming to an end.
I understand your point but this case is a little different. Over the summer Solar Red 07 Colvin/Byars started 07 teams with enough players for two rosters. The team was about to be split into two teams without regard to age pure. However, given the recent NTX communication splitting the girls up into two teams based on legacy age groups did not make a lot of sense. Therefore, the legacy 07 girls were split into two teams based on age pure. Over the course of the next several months I would suspect that these age pure 06s (Aug-Dec) would start to come together with some of the other pure 06 players from other solar teams, thus not just being Aug-Dec. So I am sure the pure 06 team (Aug-Dec) will be challenged playing older teams this fall, but knowing the players/parents they have over there I think they will be fine and they know this is not the end state.

Actually Solar Red 07- Blue is completely AP 06
Big Tex: Didn't Solar Red 07' in last weekend's Summer Splash tourney have a few 06's on the field? That was the rumor from the Kick camp. I also noticed a 1-2 Solar Red's playing on Solar 07 second team in championship game against kicks. Not sure how legal that was, but guess it didn't matter in the end.

OK Gotcha...well between Colvin & Byars they have 4 good legacy 06 teams and one new age pure (aug-Dec) 06 team. I would think that would put these teams/players in a very good position in adjusting to these age pure rules down the line.
That was my exact thought, but sorry for putting the spotlight on Solar.

Since tourney TD denied my begging to be in Gold division, we had to go out and dominate silver. For Plano we plan on winning Gold.

So it would be nice if you would post under your real identity instead of just directing your jabs toward Sting and Solar, but then again I am sure you have good reasons o hide (or should I say semi hide) your identity.
But I will try to answer your question- although your questions do not make complete since. First to be clear the decision for our legacy 07 team to move to age pure happened this week, so we did not play age pure last weekend. So to also be clear Solar Red 07 has two teams in the tourney last week-one playing u10 silver (that was Blue) and the other playing u9 gold (which was White). So were there age pure 06s playing against Kicks yes, but they are legacy 07s so I don't follow your issue. You are using solar red name and so I have no idea who you are talking about there were 4 solar red teams playing this weekend in u10 division or u9 division. I can only speak to the two solar red 07 teams as I have no idea about the solar red 06 teams, but I can tell you none of them played on either of our teams if that was your question. Also the idea that solar red 07 was split into a first team and second team is also not correct. The 07 team was split largely even between u9 & u10 teams playing last weekend to try to be as competitive as possible in both divisions. I do not follow your legal commit, but since you are referencing the kicks final I can tell you this all players were legacy 07 players on that teams roster.

Pure thing is confusing everyone I guess. I was told 06 pures from 06 team played down for you in tournament. No big deal to me. My DD plays up as well so coming down is cool.
In the final against KICKS, I wasn't aware that a player who played for one team (solar red I believe) during whole tournament and then play in just one game ( Kicks finale) for that team's B team. Make more sense without naming names? Just doesn't sit well for some people and possibly tournament director.

Don't worry about this guy, I know who it is and trust me it is a waste of time.

Am I missing something, I would agree that the Kicks Selecao is the best team in the 06's, hard to argue, but the 07's? Help me out, I don't know that much about the 07's but last Spring's season would suggest otherwise. Does JM have another team playing up or playing boys that doesn't show up on the fbr?

When did LP get a RASE program for the 06's? Heard about it years ago, but nothing ever materialized. And we would all love to hear about your playing days.Uwon't wrote:Ummm...my daughter plays for LP?!?! The new RASE program sold us. No other clubs that we visited does that.
