LH D2 Week 2

Games of the week:
DT FW Red vs Sting Central and LP vs FCUSA as all should be contenders for top 2 spots.

My honest opinion is that DT Red FW will take the title and everyone else will be chasing them unless they hit a historic number of injuries or something like that. They can be beaten, but they are the best team I have seen in D2.

After that I like Fever, FCUSA, Sting, and a few others who need to show me a little more consistency before I really think they fight for the title.

The two top teams will enter the post season tournament to fight for the 2 D1 spots (with 7-12 D1 teams), then the next 2 will be in D2 right?? then 6 will stay in D3 and the rest to QT??

So 10 will have a spot in one of the divisions right?? I like those 4 to stay for sure, and possibly be in the top 4 spots.

Hard to disagree with you D3. After their showing at PLD, it's hard to bet against DT Red FW. With the shortened season and new playoff format for promotion, every game will be important. There's not much room for "slip ups". I've seen every team in D2 play and all are capable of beating the other on any given day. Hopefully, teams stay injury free and play each other at full strength but I wouldn't hold my breath on that.

Sure looked like a scary injury in the Fever vs FCD Red game. I believe it was an FCD player. Hope she is OK.

I think Fever won 2-1.

DT Red won as well.

FCD East vs. Texans FW. Tied 0-0. FCD received 5 cards (5 different players), played short 2/3 of the game and had an impeding call (very rare). I hate to say anything about refs as a lot of calls are judgement calls but this was biased officiating. A parent from the other team came over after the game and said he could not understand what that ref was doing. He did not agree with the impeding call and his daughter was the beneficiary of the call. Very much appreciate his sportsmanship in coming to talk to us.
