JDL questions

Some questions regarding this new JDL, which will help many before the signing day.

1. Play up policy
LH will not allow a player to play up during the first year. How about JDL?

2. Guest play policy
Will JDL allow player to play for the other team within the same club ? How about the other club?

3. Does JDL player has the same one year contract?

My understanding is..

1. No playing up for an 07 with the 06s first year of select.
2.1 game per day as with CPP rules. So you could play for the other team in the club but can't play for your team and then the other on the same day. Expect all games to be the same day.
3. Same 1 year contract

At the pitch...where do these individuals come from?

Records don't lie either. Colvin has the skins on the wall. MS not so much.

If you were brave enough you could switch teams. That is if he would even ake your DD. Since his Black team is so strong he may pass on an 06 Red player.

Why is everyone calling the league JDL? Isn't it PDL?

Anyways, isn't this new league a US Club soccer league?

what purpose does it serve if the coach is still "developing" them in the same manner as usual?

me: "My daughter is 2 leagues..."
associate: "What 2 leagues?"
me: "She's in LHGCL and in JDL"
associate: "Oh I know what LHGCL is but whats JDL?"
me: "its this Junior Development League for ECNL clubs..."

So, has anyone heard whether or not a kid can play both?

Word is they will not be permitted to. CPP would basically be still in play. But that has limitations.

So, the big 5 will have 2 dedicated JDL teams per age group, plus the additional players to round out the LH D1 teams. This is a huge land and $$$ grab. Non-ECNL clubs and Indies be damned.

Posters have complained for years that the super group of 20 teams was bad, and for a good number of teams it was... non competive games either way you looked at.

so now they are basically making a 10 team league, although limited to ECNL clubs only... the level of competition will rise, already has just by creating it.

The players that had been spread across many teams are now looking to consolidate.  We have seen it at our team's practices already and I am sure we are not alone in that.

So the fact that my DD will line up next fall and every game will be highly competitive.... bbbbbbaaaaaahhh bbbbaaaaahhhhhh

dont really care what they call it or what the reason is for it, but mine will benefit from it plain and simple.

what individuals are your referring to?

Not sure if you think im the other poster that you keep going back and forth with, but I am not. I have no issue with Red or Black and have friends on both squads. I do have a favorite if i was placing a bet, but that is my personal opinion and not shared here.

Man, this is confusing! So the 10 teams cant play both JDL and LH D1 but can CPP with limitations. What does a scenario look like with lets say, Sting or defeeters. They really only have two LHD1 and/or JDL caliber teams for 06, I believe. I would think they choose JDL for competition reasons. So does that leave them out of qualifying for LHD1 and thus state cup? Solar seems to be in the drivers seat with red, black, blue, and white to be able to do both.
