Congrats to ALL our girls '03 '04 '05 and  '06 for all taking 1st Place Champs in their divison!
Dallas Texans Girls came out to Oklahoma and showed them what Texans are about!!

What the hell is Beat The Heat?

It's like the Tx Lightning cup of Oklahoma. Lol. It used to be better previous years. Guess AP watered it down.

Good for trophy hunting and gotsoccer points.  

Some coaches head up there, play their LHGCL teams in the lowest divisions, then brag about the trophies.  You see the parents out there on FB bragging about the win (little Suzie was the  "Beat the Heat Winner!!!" - forgot to mention they were playing rec or PPL teams all weekend in Silver B).

Some great results for NTX teams in competitive brackets. Probably not the example of sportsmanship when you play in a lower bracket and outscore opponents 19-0 or 34-1, then brag about the win.

Sorry but we play in the gold bracket... DTS show up to do what they do win... DTS 05 played up in the 04 brackets silver in got first place

another thread started purely for the purpose of self-promotion and self-congratulating. These threads would be more interesting if it was started to congratulate ANOTHER club/team that you have no connection to.....

When you start threads like this, it just invites people coming in to criticize. What's the point? It's not like this was Surf Cup or something.... Beat the Heat? lol

Oh and before anyone gets mad at me... I have ZERO connection to any of these teams or the tournament. Just making a general comment about starting a thread on this forum just to congratulate yourself.

I'm sure it's a parent and probably one that hasn't been on this team a long time. Look, DTS has been, is currently, and will likely be for years VERY good. They don't need this kind of self-congratulation on this forum. That's why I thought it was so funny.

The bigger question is if DTS wants to be on the map, they should go play Surf. Then they certainly wouldn't need to post themselves. Others would post for them!

My money is on all of them... They're gonna play the same roster across all leagues within the age group so why wouldn't it be all of them?

Yea, I can't think of one friendly or scrimmage my DD's ever been involved in where nobody knew what the score was and which players scored unless it was a beatdown.

Don't even need FBR. Just use 3 points win 1 point tie like every other league.

Just can't wait for the season to start this weekend in Lake Highlands ⚽
