Re: Sports Organization Management Software Jevin Dan Ptak TX
David Arciniega received 10 votes. Rachel Beltran took the president’s seat with 20 votes.
Treasurer, Sam Perry, withdrew his name from the ballot. Jesse Flores was voted in from the floor.
A newer member, Laura, successfully defeated Erick Quintana for the position of Publicity and Awards Director. Erick Quintana signed a No Confidence Petition against me because I supported a more qualified candidate opposing David Arciniega for president in 2013. I have filed complaints about this blatant harassment and election tampering that have yet to be heard. I expect Erick Quintana to be suspended from all soccer activities due to this. I passed out copies of the egregious petition filed against me and spoke out in support of free and fair elections going forward at the meeting.
The positions of Facility and Equipment Director and Special Events and Training Director went unfilled as Don Starkey had announced his departure at the beginning of the season, and Terry Walser withdrew his name from the ballot at the election.
Rosemary Martinez, who provided excellent customer service for years, has left. Gayle Brandt is also leaving.
The settlement announcement was shared with the coaches:
Announcement
Heather Dobrott and the Garland Soccer Association and David Arciniega announce that all matters in controversy between them in the lawsuit filed by Dobrott against the Association and Arciniega have been compromised and settled. No payment of damages was made to Dobrott as that was not the purpose of her lawsuit. Further, Dobrott did not receive full reimbursement of her attorneys’ fees incurred as part of the lawsuit. As part of the settlement, a contribution to the Garland Soccer Association Scholarship Fund will be made in Dobrott’s name. The parties have agreed in their settlement to confer and discuss the issues raised by Dobrott in the lawsuit and to work together toward a betterment of the Garland Soccer Association and the children it serves.
I have been in contact with USSF’s legal department and will file a national grievance against any administrators and/or NTSSA if the issues I have raised are not fully investigated, heard and handled as the by-laws dictate. I will continue to work tirelessly until there is transparency and full accountability in North Texas State Soccer.
It is imperative that all member associations do their due diligence on all prospective candidates for the North Texas State Soccer Association board and see that David Arciniega, Larry Hall and the others who have been wreaking havoc are voted out. It is high time NTSSA follow its own by-laws and handles grievances and appeals promptly instead of sweeping them under the rug.

Dan Ptak and Jevin have sued one of the many charities that they paid late. The volunteer administrators and 73 paying parents have all been included in this sickening filing. This group fought for weeks to get their money so that the little kids could play football and went to the media, police and lawyers to get help. They did chargebacks using the police report case number as their attorneys advised. Dan Ptak retaliated against these honest, hard working parents by suing them. Apparently, he thinks filing litigation against a 501 c 3 and its members will beat his angry customers into submission and they will be afraid to speak out against him or demand that he pay them their registration fees on time.

Legal action threatened. That makes around 20 leagues with late or missing payments from Jevin totaling in the neighborhood of half a million dollars.

Re: Sports Organization Management Software Jevin Dan Ptak TX
Jevin / Dan Ptak sued me and all of the parents in one of approximately 23 leagues that he paid late or stiffed (over half a million was paid late or never paid by Jevin.) Most of these leagues are charities and do in fact keep very accurate records, so I expect as more are now coming forward this "con" as the Allen, TX Police call it will face the iron hand of justice.Triumph FC wrote:No one cares about this but you! Take your crusade elsewhere but to me it now seems like you are trying to extort money from Jevin. No one in the select world uses Jevin so no one cares!

Sgt. Jon Felty, a spokesperson for the Allen Police Department in Texas where Jevin is based, told Southside Daily that their office was aware of Ptak’s company. Felty said that the Virginia Beach Little League isn’t the first to make the same allegation against Ptak’s company.
“We had criminal cases filed against them, but the problem with it is we can’t get them prosecuted,” Felty said. “Unfortunately, the little league teams hadn’t kept good financial records.”
Felty said Jevin’s online platform was a con, and several other sports organizations around the country and in Texas had fallen victim to it. He said the department was disappointed that cases filed against the sports management company weren’t able to be prosecuted.
http://southsidedaily.com/2017/08/02/before-virginia-beach-little-league-allegations-texas-company-held-funds-sued-youth-football-league-nws/
The local little league isn’t the first to make the claim against the company and its CEO, Dan Ptak.
Jeff Young, a volunteer parent with the Sky View Youth Football League in Logan, Utah, told Southside Daily that their league had been through a similar situation with Ptak and his company. The league fought with Jevin for months over $45,000 starting in January 2016.
“We went through the season, back and forth, and it was a nightmare,” Young said. “It was an absolute nightmare trying to get any information from Ptak.”
Young said the financial battle still continues and excuses from Ptak ranged from not being able to access the funds to the sudden death of a pet.
After the Utah league unsuccessfully attempted to collect registration funds, parents began filing claims with credit card companies to get their money back. After that, Young said Ptak used the league’s private information to send a letter to 73 parents demanding immediate payment for $10,000 in penalties the Texas company received from those credit card companies.
That fall – long after the end of the season for which the registration fees were nowhere to be found – Young said Ptak hit back with a civil lawsuit in Texas courts, suing dozens of parents.
Young and his wife Breanna, who serves as the league’s president, were among those Ptak sued.
“He’s a bully,” Young said of Ptak. “I’ve never dealt with the likes of this person ever in any business that I’ve ever done. No one has ever seen the type of business this guy does.”
Young said Texas lawyers hired to represent the Utah league told parents that had Jevin stuck to the agreement in the contract the penalties – and the lawsuit – would have never happened.
“The agreement states that Jevin will deposit the money next business day for all transactions,” Young said.
Ptak sent another letter to all Jevin users last summer which claimed the Utah league was “trying to publicly ridicule Jevin and take the company down” according to Young. Will said that Ptak also told him the Utah parents were responsible for Jevin’s funds being frozen, which prevented the company from dispersing VBLL’s funds this spring.
“I find it kind of interesting that Ptak could get all of the money, but he just can’t pay any of the money,” Young said.
Though the legal battle is time-consuming and frustrating, Young said what makes him most upset is that Ptak is continuing to hold funds from other leagues.

Re: Sports Organization Management Software Jevin Dan Ptak TX
You do know that I posted those? Garland Soccer's David Arciniega went after me for placement of a coach and his own son on a team. I was the coach and had to step back as my son has been fighting a serious chronic illness and was too sick to play. Only Arciniega, the registrar and the player pool had access on Jevin to move players and coaches. It was phony charges to try to get me removed or scare me into resigning as I was exposing the issues in Garland. This is one of the reasons why the coaches voted that clown out.Triumph FC wrote: https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=tgJUQbMm&id=D7BCDFDE71396B3B476C894397AB99BAD532891C&thid=OIP.tgJUQbMmLFRu1eiQCQ5S1ADuEs&q=heather+dobrott&simid=608042211118482212&selectedIndex=2&PC=APPL

Dan Ptak sued me and those innocent parents thinking he could silence me and get me to remove my totally factual posts and intimidate all his customers into not doing chargebacks when he withheld their money. The contracts state he must pay them their registration fees the next business day, in 48 hours or something similar in all his contracts. This group went weeks without their funds that they had to have to buy equipment, uniforms and pay bills. Dan Ptak / Jevin breached the contract first by not paying their money to them on time. They sought legal counsel and were advised at that point to do chargebacks and whatever necessary to get their money. I was added to the suit after I commented on how disgusting his suit against that charity and those families was. Get the facts!
http://www.quatloos.com/Q-Forum/viewforum.php?f=5 The court docs, commentary by legal and financial professionals should clear this up for you.

Re: Sports Organization Management Software Jevin Dan Ptak TX
David Arciniega refused to allow the Garland board to find another provider. Arciniega risked hundreds of thousands of dollars with Jevin. Approximately 23 leagues have had late or missing payments totaling around half a million dollars. Read all the articles posted, the BBB report and threads linked. David Arciiega retained this vendor and stopped the Garland Police from investigating the 8 grand Garland Soccer was missing from Jevin in 2013. Half a million in late or missing payments is from 2016-17 only. Why should groups who were paid weeks later than the 1 or 2 days specified in the contract or not paid at all do Dan Ptak a favor and reimburse him when he has broken the contract and withheld their funds???? Where are you guys getting these wild stories from????Triumph FC wrote:Yes Maybe this is why her rant against GSA happened. Looks like there was some malpractices going on not by GSA. I guess there is always two sides to a story. Im not for Jevin I don't even know them but they had to sue organizations because the organizations refused to cover the charge backs which in their contract states that the organizations are responsible for any charges.
Hopefully this will now go away and we can get back to bashing clubs, teams, coaches and parents!

Good point.
Per her... David A. stopped the Garland police from investigating. How exactly does one do that? Did he simply say I am innocent.. therefore do not investigate this matter... poof. All done. Utter nonsense and lies and comical ones too. This whole thing is disturbing. I clicked on the link she provided... and apparently some league from Iowa also got sick of her persistence and wrote the following letter..... which she found funny.
Heather Dobrott,
This is Jim Byers, President of Pleasant Hill Little League ("the league") in Pleasant Hill, Iowa. This email is to serve as final notice to you that you are no longer, in any fashion (electronic mail, telephone, social media, or postal mail) to contact or communicate with Pleasant Hill Little League or it's board members, parents, players, coaches, or volunteers. You have been instructed prior to today to no longer communicate with the league, which you have ignored. Further communication, in any fashion, including using entities outside of the league, shall be considered harassment and local authorities in Pleasant Hill, Iowa as well as your hometown shall be contacted and the league shall press charges against you for this harassment.
On a personal note, myself and our board as a whole, has grown tired of your antics. We have no interest nor concern with the fanatic psychosis with which you are stalking our business partner. I could not care less what your interest is in this. From our perspective, everything you share with us is completely unfounded. And, quite frankly, your ramblings have hit the wrong nerve with me now, and I find you to be insufferable and intolerable. If you want to run around Texas on your soap box and hope that someone wants to entertain your vendetta and phsychoses, by all means, carry on. But DO NOT contact our league directly or indirectly EVER again. And DO NOT take my suggestion of involving law enforcement lightly. That point was not a threat, but a promise. I do not have the time, energy, or want to deal with some whacky lady half a nation away, and if I EVER come across your name again in association with my league or any member of my league, every bit of time and energy I spend on it will be to make you miserable thru every legal means possible equal to and greater than what you seek out with Jevin. Go away. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER A REPLY TO THIS EMAIL. SHOULD YOU EVEN AS MUCH DO THIS, I WILL IMMEDIATELY CONTACT LAW ENFORCEMENT TO MOVE FORWARD WITH CHARGES. Whatever personal vendettas you may hold against Jevin or the soccer club in your area has absolutely nothing to do with us role our league, so leave us out of it.
Thank You,
Jim Byers
