Re: LH Spring Roundup 2017
Do not know much bout Higgy. Other than they apparently have only won one game so far. Do no think I could pick a team to win with that sort of history. I will go with LP. North White or Kicks over Higgy in that bracket A. Surely FCD North White will have JDL players on their roster as usual.WisdomTeeth wrote:I say Higgy over LP on Pks in the final

4 games so far. Higgy have won 4 games. 1 in JDL and 3 in last week's Houston pre-ECNL Showcase. And of course they have won countless of scrimmages over time.
But the biggest factor is they have Coach Higgy. That is a big plus.

Golly Gee Pele you are right. I stand corrected. They were 1 for the last 6 months then got 3 wins last weekend. After those 3 wins I don't know how they wont win it all.Pele98 wrote:KeeperCommander wrote:Do not know much bout Higgy. Other than they apparently have only won one game so far. Don't go too far out on a limb. Maybe you know about some guest players? New additions? Care to go on record as to who might surprise?

Well, some of my predictions stunk. These 11-12 year olds screw everything up.

Congrats to Elite on a good win. JDL has some great teams no question about that. Higgy may very well be a good team but they are not DTS or FCD Red level yet.Son_ofa_Pitch wrote:Don't know about overwhelming favorites. Isn't JDL suppose to have superior teams? Just asking.

Not necessarily superior teams, just superior development.

No doubt. Only one team in Gold, Fever, advanced out of bracket play with 2 wins and the teams with the most GFs, DT Central and Sting East Gray, didn't advance. But the three bracket winners had one thing in common - 0 GAs. As they say, defense wins championships. Liverpool had 5 clean sheets.

That defensive diagram came straight out of JK's playbook.

Re: LH Spring Roundup 2017
No doubt that a clean sheet is a good thing. However the 3 bracket winner combined for 5 goals in 9 games. That is just weird. More of how could that be than anything else.ForReal wrote:KeeperCommander wrote:I am surprised at the records of the bracket winners.
