This week's games of the week are highlighted because there are only a few ranking points between each team.

1st Place (KICKS SC DALLAS KICKS SELECAO 05) vs. 4th Place (STING WEST 05G)
Prediction: Kicks 3, Sting 0

10th Place (SOLAR CHELSEA 05G HAYLOCK (F:ANDROFC)) vs. 12th Place (FC DALLAS YOUTH 05G NORTH)
Prediction: Solar 0, FCD 1

9th Place (DALLAS KICKS SC DALLAS KICKS JM) vs. 6th Place (SOLAR CHELSEA 05G BYARS)
Prediction: Kicks 0, Solar 1

Prediction: Revolution 0, Sting 2

To me, this is the game of the week and, for these teams, the season.  A loss or a draw, will make it very difficult to get ahead of Kicks JM for the 9th and final spot in DI.  And if they were to finish tied for 9th, the dreaded tiebreakers go into place with the first being head-to-head competition.  The second tiebreaker is most wins.  And then GAs.  FCD needs this one big time.

10th Place (SOLAR CHELSEA 05G HAYLOCK (F:ANDROFC)) vs. 12th Place (FC DALLAS YOUTH 05G NORTH)
Prediction: Solar 0, FCD 1 Solar has become better this half, Tie 1-1

9th Place (DALLAS KICKS SC DALLAS KICKS JM) vs. 6th Place (SOLAR CHELSEA 05G BYARS)
Prediction: Kicks 0, Solar 1 Colvin has a big game in JDL this week right? Will that interfere with player sharing?

15th Place (STING DALLAS GUZMAN 05G) vs. 19th Place (BELLATORES FC 05G BEWLEY)
Prediction: Sting 0, Bellatores 1 Guzman 1-0.  Bella has to climb out of cellar before I pick them to win

Selecao/West -- I don't think it'll be close but West can compete.  3-1 Kicks.

Haylock/FCD -- this will be close but I give edge to Haylock. 2-1

Solar/JM -- the Colvin kids win it. 3-1.

I do not believe West will score but they do have a convincing defense that has only allowed 6 GA. Selecao will have to work hard to get their goals.

FCD has a good day it will be a blowout. If Haylock can hang around they have a chance.

All depends on the help Byars gets. Could go either way, but I feels Byars doesn't get the help and JM wins.

Ooooo.... no help from Colvin??! Bold, KC, bold.

Of course all they really need is the one player... I've promised not to mention names so I won't.

Not no help, what help. Of course is going to get his DD, but who else. Is that remotely going to be enough? I guess we will see.

Send her out to get a goal by herself which she is perfectly able to do. Then park the bus - 8 in the box.

MeThinks not so much of a stretch!

But you're right, we'll see.

well, no real surprises. Though, Kicks JM 2-0 over Byars can be considered a surprise. Anyone watch that note the Colvin presence as high or low in that game?

I think the JDL Colvin conflict seems to have come into play.

Congrats to JM for hanging onto their spot in D1 for now! nice win.

1st Place (KICKS SC DALLAS KICKS SELECAO 05) vs. 4th Place (STING WEST 05G)
Prediction: Kicks 3, Sting 0 Possibly correct Actual 3-1 Kicks.  Do not see any surprises here

10th Place (SOLAR CHELSEA 05G HAYLOCK (F:ANDROFC)) vs. 12th Place (FC DALLAS YOUTH 05G NORTH)
Prediction: Solar 0, FCD 1 Solar has become better this half, Tie 1-1 Actual 2-1 Haylock.  I find this to be a surprise.  Did JDL games come into play here as well?  Can not imagine that FCD loses another one with help, but who knows.

Actual 2-0 Kicks.  I do not want to say big surprise that JM wins, but winning 2-0 is a big surprise.  No help hurt Solar here.

15th Place (STING DALLAS GUZMAN 05G) vs. 19th Place (BELLATORES FC 05G BEWLEY)
Prediction: Sting 0, Bellatores 1 Guzman 1-0.  Bella has to climb out of cellar before I pick them to win Actual 5-2 Sting.  Bellatores will be a very good D3 team.

13th Place (DALLAS TEXANS CENTRAL DALLAS TEXANS 05G CENTRAL - Z) vs. 11th Place (LIVERPOOL 05 GIRLS REDKNAPP (F: INFINITY))
Prediction: Texans 1, Liverpool 0 Central 1-0 Actual 1-0 Texans.  Redknapp is very up and down, but then again so is Texans Central.

20th Place (REVOLUTION 05 GIRL- MOULTON) vs. 17th Place (STING NORTH 05G SHEPARD)
Prediction: Revolution 0, Sting 2 Sting 2-0 Actual 2-1 Sting.  Surprise here is that Revolution scored.  This might have sealed their fate for relegation to D3.

5th Place (FEVER UNITED 05G PENN) vs. 2nd Place (DALLAS TEXANS 05G STH - Z)
Prediction: Fever 1, Texans 3 Fever will not sniff the goal at any point.  4-0 DTS Actual 4-0 DTS.  That is all.

Yes, FCD had 3 JDL players playing in this game.

FCD Roach was pretty much dominated vs. Haylock.
3 JDL players didn't make much difference for Roach.

JDL goalie coughed up an easy one and they might need the JDL red goalie the rest of the way. This loss, really hurt the team and we might be looking at D2

Look at the bright side. You still get 3 CPP for a couple games before you only can bring 1.

If you are referring to the Blue keeper then I would disagree. I think she is more sound than Red keeper. Both are good however.

Highly doubt that the keeper is the main issue here & really pretty wrong to come on here to call out specific players. Maybe the CPP should focus on a goal scorer or center back Shocked Don't know anything about this particular player other than seeing her play on a couple of occasions & it appears she is a very good keeper. No, she isn't my DD....just defending keepers!

Sorry big e...my bad. It was a very good move on fcds part to bring in multiple cpp players to help boost the outcome of a lh game at the expense of their paying rostered players, so they could hopefully keep a bye and they were right in slamming the goalie that gave up a goal, that didn't play on the team but was trying to keep the "clubs" bye, because that helps the development of 12 year olds.

Seen red and blue both. Everyone would agree that red is head and shoulders the best they have. Nothing wrong with saying a player gave up a gift goal either. Girl could of dribbled the ball into the net. Didn't say blue was bad either. Every goalie will cough one up from time to time and every JDL team has a true #1 keeper. I'm sure red has given up 1-2 an easy goal as well.
I've seen my kid shoot a 20 yd shank on an open net and I'm fine with saying it. She's 11 and it happens.
