Rush/Kicks/Feet

The D'Feeters are proud to announce that Dallas Rush 04 Voutier and Dallas Kicks 05 Selecao are joining our club to form our u14 and u13 ECNL teams for next season.

Both teams will continue developing their players in the right way with their current coaches, free from the chaos of other environments, and as true teams, while also playing against the highest quality competition and getting the elite exposure that ECNL provides.

The future is bright for the D'Feeters Soccer Club as we continue to attract such high quality, like-minded coaches, players, and parents to enhance the culture of our club.

IMHO - this is GREAT news for Rush! These girls deserve the opportunity to compete at the highest levels.

D'Feeters get the immediate impact of adding 2 very talented young ECNL teams to their fold.  With the next young groups coming up, the club looks strong for the future.

Dallas Rush gets back into the party that no one seemed to want them at.  They do things their own way but have made a big move and will benefit from it.

Kicks confirms the rumors of the expansion of ECNL to U13.  According to certain sources this talented group of ladies was shut out of JDL on purpose and now they get to wreak havoc in the age groups most important league with no DA until 2018.

Do you keep a D1 bye if an entire team leaves for ECNL?

Club will fill it with another team

Will jk be over the new ecnl teams?

If an entire team leaves for another club, say by May 15, don't they take the LHGCL bye with them?

JK will be at Solar (presumably with most of his current 03s).

Are we sure there won't be a U13 DA division? ... About as certain as we are that there will be one for the ECNL --

Those byes stay with the clubs (which aren't coming over entirely anyway) --

The 2 key dates are Feb 1st and April 1st.

Any LHGCL team that changes clubs after Feb 1st is required to retain 75% of the players from their official NTSSA roster as of April 1st, otherwise, the bye ownership reverts back to the previous club.

2 teams that are ripe for ECNL are moving to D'Feeters to play ECNL.  How does that do anything for JDL?  It hurts LHGCL but theres no way Kicks 05 or Rush 04 had plans to stick with LHGCL for too much longer.

And you're right...I'm tripping, this does nothing for JDL. I forgot those clubs don't have any other top teams younger than '05...yet.

I had posted this in another category but there will be full ECNL for the 05's with no national championship.

2017-18 ECNL Member Clubs:

Please read the below correspondence in regards to the ECNL U13 Division being introduced in the 2017-18 ECNL Season.
Background:

The ECNL U13 Division will be created as a formal ECNL competition age group beginning in the 2017-18 season. While the age group will be formally supported by the league (see below), participation will be optional due to the different travel demands across the country. Additionally, based on the age of the players and the philosophy of the league, there will be no national champion or championship event.

The ECNL U13 Division will provide an option for member clubs to introduce their U13 players to the ECNL structure and competition, while focusing on development and learning.

ECNL U13 Division Basics:



Participation in the ECNL U13 Division is optional. All clubs must submit a survey response to the league (see below) indicating their desire to participate. Based upon these responses, the league will create conference schedules. Once committing to participate, the commitment is binding and will be enforced as at other ECNL age groups.
Participating teams in the ECNL U13 Division must complete the ECNL U13 Division season in its entirety as laid out and approved by the league.
The ECNL U13 Division Team must be the “first team” of the club in the U13 age group.
The specific competition format for the ECNL U13 Division will be determined by the league. It may mirror the format of the U14 schedule, or be structured differently, based on participating clubs.
ECNL U13 Division players must be carded under the ECNL and will be subject to ECNL roster rules. Players can play for both the ECNL U13 Team and any other ECNL Team, provided all ECNL Rules and Regulations are followed.
ECNL U13 Division players may participate in any ECNL National Event for which they are age eligible.
There will be no standings or post-season competition for ECNL U13 Division teams.


ECNL Support:

The ECNL will support the ECNL U13 Division in the following ways:



ECNL will have a U13 Division schedule on the ECNL website
ECNL will host at least one optional (1) ECNL U13 Division Showcase during the season

Given that DFeeters announced that only one team from Rush and Kicks are taking advantage of their ECNL status, I'd doubt that the other Rush and Kicks teams still rep'ing their respective clubs will be participating in JDL --

So that's "development" right?
It's "what" they're being developed into is what's often misleading.

I believe they are 09s jogo ... a bit too young but they are already playing GV's system -- promising

Uhh... think back 3 years ago. Solar?  Buying up coaches and talent for couple years now.

Still are, and they aren't the only ones.

Some clubs will struggle more than others to stay relevant.

Everybody has always talked about the need for NTX to consolidate talent to become relevant on national stage. Guess this is how it is happening. Not everyone on the top teams will continue to be going forward.

Nothing new for Feet. Their 99, 00 and 03 initial ECNL groups were developed outside the club.
