Nothing new for Feet. Their 99, 00 and 03 initial ECNL groups were developed outside the club.

Speaking of 03 at Feet, seems like the cupboard may be getting a bit bare this summer. Wonder what their plan will be...but that's another topic.

As they will have to do in order to field a new 03 ECNL team - so why any pretense to "developing" these teams? Cool

That will make 3 "purchased" ECNL teams this year alone - out of 7 total.

If this is the business model, admit to it - "we are a consolidator of teams outside the Big4"

DA might be the best thing to ever happen to D'Feeters. Without it (and these acquisitions) they were likely to have the lowest ranked Dallas ECNL teams in every age group.

DA might be the best thing to ever happen to D'Feeters. Without it (and these acquisitions) they were likely to have the lowest ranked Dallas ECNL teams in every age group.

Just got off the phone with feet.....they admitted it. Gonna call fcd shortly to get to the bottom of the shenanigans they've been pulling.

It's a null point. Not one team in the history of ever has completely grown up in a particular club and stayed there throughout. It's just never happened. Kids come and go.

I think it's funny how folks ask the question: "Will this help or hurt LHGCL". It won't hurt or help. Nothing changes, it just adds another level of competition. Every player plays in a league that fits their skill level. Those that were ECNL will be DA, those that were LHGCL D1 will be ECNL, LHGCL will fill the D1 with those that want to stay D1 and those that move up from D2 and D3 will be backfilled with PPL D1 teams wanting to get a crack at LHGCL D3. The levels just adjust accordingly. The only ones hurt by this are the parents pocketbooks.

Will it still be competitive in terms of those "levels."
No way was I implying that LHGCL would fall off and disappear.
Parents pocketbooks hurt regardless to the league once select soccer and high aspirations and expectations come into play.
