Re: LH QT
1. Warriors - LH D3 – relegated
2. LP Shankly – LH D3 – relegated
3. Fever United Trevino (F: Hurst) – PPL Red – 1st place
4. High Plains Drifters – PPL Blue – 1st place
5. SPTX SEDEH (Sao Paolo) – PPL Red – 2nd place
6. FCD Youth Black – PPL White - 2nd place
7. Frisco Fusion – PPL Blue – 3rd place
8. Gremio USA - PPL White – 3rd place
9. Legacy FC – PPL Blue – 4th place
10. Texas Fury – PPL White – 5th place
Bracket C has seeds 6, 7, 8 and 9. Somebody who couldn't win their PPL division will make LH....guaranteed. Even worse, based on the fact that they play one another......1 of the "Top 2" wildcards will very possibly come from that division as well.
Lastly....who on the selection committee has something against Texas Fury. The lowest seeded team in my "make up a seeding list".....who do they play? Seeds 1, 2 and 3. Ouch.

Thanks for sharing that. Byes are given to every team that participated in the PPIL league. D1 first three teams from each jumbo division, D2 next 3 teams from each jumbo division, etc...
New teams are defined as teams that did not play in a competitive league last year such as (LH, PPIL, APL, etc...). LH teams will probably be placed by the Dir of Competition in the appropriate div or they could be forced to play in the Placement tournament to earn their way into D1 since PPIL want some $$$ from each team.

Re: LH QT
This may be the same thing for the 2 teams (Warriors and LP) - 1 or both may not re-qualify this year, but certainly would not benefit from D4/D3 PPL. I believe the "PPL Competitive Committee" will look to see if, for example, above seeds 3-6, who likely are to be slotted in D1, earn a LH spot, and seems fair Warriors/LP could slide into D1. Certainly not unfair - competitively speaking, although I would assume a couple teams in D2 may think so..
Should be an interesting and crazy hot weekend of soccer.

Re: LH QT
Why would you have them all playing against each other? The brackets don't seem to make any sense especially bracket C. Seems LH had a FC Dallas influencer...
Stats:
27 Games Played....~75% of games tied or within 1.
- 8 games in ties (30%)
- 12 games decided by 1 (44%)
Goal Differential by Bracket...
Bracket E...0.50 Goal Differential per game (9 total goals scored; 1.5/game)
Bracket B...0.50 Goal Differential per game (11 total goals scored; 1.8/game)
Bracket C...1.00 Goal Differential per game (12 total goals scored; 2/game)
Bracket D...2.00 Goal Differential per game (18 total goals scored; 3/game)
Bracket A...3.33 Goal Differential per game (12 total goals scored; 4/game)

LH's long standing love for the big clubs - keeps the $$ coming in, year after year. A shame for sure, hard enough for independent teams without draws like this..
And while Bracket C surely lines up well for FCD, B bracket - essentially 3 independant teams, is no cake walk, play head to head, plus each get a tough crossover match. Might be tough to get 2 spots out of that bracket - when both seemed to do well in round 1.
Bigger question, why is there a 2nd round???? With 5 spots, like 01's - they could have simply awarded after the first weeked, right?

Was off by one. Congrats to all that made Lake Highlands.
4 of the 5 teams are indys. Fever is close to an Indy. Makes D3 with 6 or 7 independent teams:
Dallas Kicks
DFeeters
Cyclones
Dallas Cosmos
Warriors
Legacy
Sao Paulo
Fever
Fusion
I am going with Triumph is the one who gave up their bye.

Re: LH QT
Some hot and humid weather for us parents to withstand.....a commitment by the sideline cheering sections that's quite often overlooked.
Regarding D3.....I, too, am guessing Triumph gave up their "Bye"....so add Sting North Larry as the 10th team and move Dallas Kicks to the 2nd D'Feeters team in D3 (now known as D'Feeters Esquivel).
