So here is the order they should be seeded (in my opinion) but the question is what type of brackets will they do for 17 teams? 5-4-4-4?

Last year in a goup that had 17 teams, they did 2 Brackets of 4 and 3 Brackets of 3.

I think people will be surprised at Sting ETX. This team is much nearer to the team that made D2 a few years ago. They have the players and now they have a keeper. The absence of a keeper knocked them out of DIII.

dfw tornados, sting etx, and tiumph play next week as wild cards.
next week's groups will be: GROUP X - fcd black, liverpool, andromada and tiumph; and GROUP Y - ntx strikers, liverpool gold, dfw tornados blue, and sting etx.

Flip Triumph and CD Independiente in the brackets and you could have the two brackets. LIverpool played CD Independiente in the pool games.

The 8 teams that advance to Round 2 will be seeded into 2 Brackets of 4. Teams in all Brackets will play
all other teams within their bracket (From LH website)
Teams WILL BE seeded again so North Texas Strikers will be at the most 6 or 7th seed behind the bracket winners which means they will play at least 2 bracket winners and will not be seeded as high as you have them.

I agree in the 9 years I've been here thats how its always done if going into a second week. The 5 bracket winners have to be seeded before anybody else otherwise why play the first round. Its going to be tough whoever you play and if we can get everybody healthy (a little bit better than when we played in Tut and this weekend)I dont mind who we play. Good luck to all 8 teams and may the best 4 get through

I will say according to last year rules for advancement Triumph FC looks correct at taking into considerations the bracketing of the first weekend.

This is just a question,
but not knowing the full history I thought they would take the bracket winners based on point total/average and cross play with the lowest bracket winner and the 3 wild cards thus giving some credence to the validity of the first weekend of play.
