LH Qualifying Teams

I will say according to last year rules for advancement Triumph FC looks correct at taking into considerations the bracketing of the first weekend.

This is just a question,
but not knowing the full history I thought they would take the bracket winners based on point total/average and cross play with the lowest bracket winner and the 3 wild cards thus giving some credence to the validity of the first weekend of play.

Brackets
X1 FC Dallas Black
X2 Andromeda
X3 Tornadoes Blue
X4 Liverpool

Y1 Triumph
Y2 ETX Sting
Y3 North Texas Strikers
Y4 CD Independiente

This format gives the best teams from week one the greatest chance of advancing. Am I missing something here?

It's just my opinion, but really isn't my opinion always right? hahahaha

question who were the top seeded teams for the 96's? tornados, and fc dallas black were both in LH d3 last year so im guessing they were higher seeds, and then the andromada team won plano which would make them a higher seed as well. Why would 3 higher seeded teams all have to meet in the second round in the same bracket. I guess two get out from each group but still i dont know who the other two teams are that had to requalify for d 3 to know who would be higher seeds. just wondering looking at that why its set up that way...looks a bit crazy the way this qualifying stuff ends up working

Liverpool
FC Dallas Black
Strikers
Tornados Blue

I would really hope they would not put 3 of the 4 into the same bracket but we'll see

They have to according to the rules. You wont be in Triumph's bracket you played them in bracket play first weekend and didnt win the bracket so the 5 bracket winners based on %
1. FC Dallas
2. Tornados
3.Andromeda
4.Triumph
5.Liverpool
(might be a slight change in these above)
6. Strikers
7.Sting
8.CD
but the bottom 3 are seeded as per first round results.
So lets put
FC Dallas in one bracket and Tornados in the other. Triumph and Andromeda will go in either and Liverpool the same. Strikers wont be with Triumph and CD wont be with Liverpool. It will all depend on where they place teams as to where Strikers go regardless of "we were in LH" They didn't win the bracket so really their LH status counts for nothing unless they can get back in

ANDROMEDA
STRIKERS
CD
but its easy to switch Andro and Strikers with Triumph and Sting which gets us back to where Jeff M was yesterday!

In looking at the "Teams advancing to round 2" pdf file on the site it looks like its:

A3 ANDROMEDA 96G (FORMERLY FCDY 96G BLUE)
A4 CD. INDEPENDIENTE 96G

B1 TRIUMPH FC 96 GIRLS

B3 STING ETX 96G
B4 NORTH TEXAS STRIKERS

Of course Strikers and Triumph played each other and so did Liverpool and CD so I'm sure they will flip and that brings us back to Jeff M's brackets!

Earlier you predicted Sting ETX as making it what changed your mind? Sting looked like they had a pretty good weekend. I think they could make it out of the gang of four.

Other than Tornados Blue, the remaining is a coin flip. It looks to me like Triumph performed better against the stronger competition. ETX lost to Andromeda & Triumph tied Strikers.
