I have a 99 & 06 DD. Over the past 9 yrs, I have observed many coaches in the DFW area. I learned a lot about DFW soccer as well as the national scene through My 99/00. My 06 DD has played with Sting Black Guitierrez from the inception of the team 4 years ago. I am not going to provide attribute comparison of various teams or coaches. My point is She has done a great job with this team and they have dominated the 06 space locally and nationally.

I believe DTS is a very good team that coach Adames has developed well.

Not sure if Pulp and Colvin are still in the space but are good coaches.

Ring is good as well.

Ultimately you have to find the right fit for your DD from a coach and a team standpoint. The best of anything rests with individual fit/perspectives. I am confident you can find the best coach for your DD in DFW. Best of luck!

Below are the US Soccer Rankings. Statistically and based on recent tournament performance there is about 1/2 to a 1 goal differential between the bottom 6 D1 teams and the D2 teams. This means on any given weekend the bottom half of the D1 division could lose to the D2 division. Look at recent tournaments and you will see some D2 teams have in fact beaten D1 teams. In some instances D2 teams have beaten some Top 5 D1 teams.

Before you say "wrong".. do some homework.

You know I don’t agree DTS should be ranked above SB! ...that math doesn’t make sense at all AND I don’t mean any disrespect to DTS. Just saying The results against top 06 teams aren’t even close.

As far D1 vs D2, doesn’t state CUP sort out the pretenders vs contenders. I believe the D1 teams did better?

how many of the state cup teams from last year loaded up on JDL players? State Cup is not representative of true team results..
SB vs TXS is statistically insignificant.. True to whenever they play. Always a good match and the win/loss record between the 2 is not lopsided by any stretch

Between this post and that first book you wrote, it's almost like you understand that the victory margins outside of a small few teams are pretty much always tiny. I love that site by the way- I think their rankings are as spot on as they could possibly be without being at every game (which you obviously are not, with your "long ball" designation for multiple teams). Infinitely better than gotsoccer.

Out of curiosity, which D2 teams beat top 5 D1 teams recently? I honestly don't know. I have a sneaking suspicion you're going to tell me a D'Feeters team did though.

And I think it's funny that you think any of the psychos on this site are forgetting to do their homework, lmao.

I agree many teams were loaded up with JDL players and will happen again this year.

For me DTS is the only team that plays SB straight up. Therefore the games are exciting. My point is the results suggest SB should #1 by a wide margin. Head to head SB is 3-1 vs DTS. SB track record in national tournaments is unmatched and is the biggest reason why the comparison should not be close. I can’t think of another team that has been as successful. DTS is clearly #2 in Texas and Top 5 nationally IMO.

Not exactly, but not terribly far off. The difference between 3rd and 10th is ten points. Pretty wide. And the only team with a wide PF/PA margin is DTS. Very wide.

But they're all playing each other. Not D2 or D3 teams. Again, I don't know any recent tournament results personally so I can't comment on those.

There is a 1.76 goal differential between 3rd and 10th place. This means the 3rd ranked team should beat the 10th ranked team by almost 2 goals.

D1 Sting-Feet Angell has a score of 28.93 and D2 Triumph has a score of 28.51. There is less than a 1/2 goal differential between these two teams which means that the game should end in a tie score or there will be a 1 play differential such as a PK or a long ball or a squirrel finds an acorn play that could but either team in the win column.

Yes there is a wide goal margin between the two Goliaths (SB Nation/TXS) and the rest of the mere mortals in the '06s. This is why these 2 teams generally win by 4 goals or more. For the rest of the '06s it's an MMA (oops sorry forgot Cat Webb's White Wlakers are '07s).. excuse me.. It's a battle between the not as mighty's week in and week out.

Skeets you are usually right on. I agree with you about SB being best of the best currently, but DTS South is not a #5 ranked team nationally. Just because you win subpar events around the state doesn't mean you are a Top 5 nationally ranked team. DTS along with other Texas teams in this age group would need to at least win 1-2 National events over the course of a 24 month period to be in the top 5. Additionally, Not sure how Solar got ranked #3 in the region? Have they even played in any tourneys?

Fair points...have seen literally all of the top teams across the country, I believe DTS is elite and is w/o a doubt top 10 for sure. IMO, I believe they are Top 5. Legends, Hawaii, San Juan, Sd Surf, Anaheim Surf, & DTS are top 2-7 nationally and are interchangeable.

In Midwest Chicago Fire is solid. Did well in Copa made finals. Was hammered this weekend and didn’t make it out of bracket.

In the East, NJ team, can’t remember name, but is top team in NE, was hammered by SB in Jefferson cup and embarrassed at Surf. Another NJ team, Called Bergen County, did not make it out of bracket in Vegas.
