FBR09 Rankings February 6th, 2018

Updated 09 FBR as of 2/06/18. Only 09 teams with 3 or more games played since 08/26/17 are included in the FBR published rankings. All games in the U9 leagues and tournaments that "publish results" are included.  

FBR09 will also include any 09 teams playing against each other in the 08 division.  As long as the teams that are playing up are not using 08 players when playing against each other 09 teams.

Also, ranking points are derived from who you play and their tier(not your own tier) and, how well the teams you play do.  As always regulation scores are used for FBR, not OT and no PKs that determine game result(if known).  FBR is presented as W/L/T not W/T/L.  This FBR is the sole representation of FBR09,  any and all complaints(and compliments) should be directed to FBR09.  These rankings use the same software and criteria as with all prior year FBRs.

Looks about right, except DTS up by 11? That's a bit nutty. I know, it's just math and two big wins, but still. I wish them the best but don't think they will end the spring season at Primetime in the top half.

DTS has proven over the years to produce top teams.  Nothing surprising here....this younger group is on the same path as many older DTS girls teams.  The 09 team has a strong group of girls , many of which have older siblings on top ranked DTS teams , as well as a group of very dedicated parents.   The upward movement doesn’t surprise me. The 09 group at DTS will be a very successful group.

DTS was 6th on the last FBR.

DTS is up 11 points, not spots.

This ranking is going to change a lot in a couple of months so I wouldn’t put to much thought in it as it is now... it basically includes fall league play and any winter tournaments which many teams played in with guest players which helped their ranking while other teams took the winter off. I think we see a lot of movement and more accuracy after the Spring league play.

DTS had a real nice 3-1 win against Surf Cup champion LV Elite in Vegas Cup, and a tough 1-0 loss to eventual Champion Colorado Rush

No question DTS is legit and they belong, I was just surprised by 11 points for two wins. Anyway, it will all get sorted out over the next 3 months...

06 is right....May or may never reach numero uno but will always be in the mix for sure as “A” top team... South breeds athletes that will always compete. May not play the style you “prefer” but will get the W’s and and make the best team work hard.

A little..... but only one of my soccer kiddos is w DTS. My older one is not. Finding a good and loyal coach is not easy!

agreed with 06Southgirl but will add, the right coach also needs a club that will allow s/he to build and develop the team for the future vs. getting the bye and grooming the team for a coach who needs a paycheck for the next season.
