2018 DIGC Predictions
05 - San Jose, Texan ECNL or FCD DA should be the favorites but I'm going with Feet ECNL for the upset. Saw them play Tophat in Houston last week and I think they are very close to topping the Texans.
04 - Albion or FCD DA. If I had to chose one I would go with the underdog.

Re: 2018 DIGC Predictions
For the '05s, I'd guess the Quakes, Feet ECNL, Texans ECNL and FCD DA will be battling it out.
For the '04s, I've heard that Nacka out of Sweden are tough, both FCD and Solar DAs are strong, and I'd expect the both Albion and Sting ECNL will be very tough to beat.
I'd guess that Texans DA wins the '03 group without much trouble.
The '02 Mexican NT is no joke ... saw 'em play in CA in the Fall -- smallish, but very strong both technically + tactically.
I like the Heat FC out of Vegas to give Texans DA a run in the '01 group.

Re: 2018 DIGC Predictions
Group A 1st - Solar DA
Group B 1st - FC Dallas DA (Possibly the toughest group)
Group C 1st Yesung - U14 (Korea Republic) - Apparently this team is legit
Group D - this may be the most evenly matched group... Feet could have their hands full in every game and I expect wildcard(s) to come from this group with a few ties along the way, ultimately I expect Feet wins this group
Group E 1st Albion ECNL also another WC might come from this group as well

Have you seen FCD DA schedule next couple weeks. Real Co, Rush and Solar again... call me crazy but sounds like the perfect run up to this Tourney.
Going to make for one heck of a tournament

Re: 2018 DIGC Predictions
Some good games this weekend.
What is more surprising about the DA activities this weekend:
1. FCD losing 3-0 to Real Colorado
2. FCD beating Colorado Rush 5-1
3. Real Colorado only scoring 6 on Dallas Texans
4. Texans getting a red card and playing down a man vs Rush and giving up 3 goals while down

Sorry I didn't clarify AG ... 3 was most surprising.
Real CO isn't #1 for nothing ... Very well coached and absolutely stacked with multi generational athletes. Two U14 YNT and another U15 YNT on that roster -- the FCD 04s are a relatively big + strong team, but they make us look a couple years younger.

Sounds like you weren't there to see those kids ...
A lot of size yes, but very technical + high IQ -- Physical "aggression" had little to nothing to do with their success on Saturday.
