FCD West still has Colvin and then Fever....ouch!

Colvin and DTS trying to make sure they go to semis either winning the group or getting a wildcard. DTS nor colvin will not hold back , dts can score 10 goals on fever and Colvin will score 15 on fcd west .

Yea, not sure of actual result. That was updated from when I originally posted. The game data doesn't show a Fever score, but I don't know how accurate that is.

Not starting anything. But was a certain CB who might be related to the coach playing? Honest question. Of course, may not be the difference in any event. But could be an impact.

Not that Solar Haylock is in this argument, but as I mentioned in another thread, the battle for supremacy in this age group runs about 2 maybe 3 deep. The FCD teams aren't in that discussion. FCD red does not play good soccer. They have a few kids that are better athletes than others have and can win games on athleticism alone. You can't always rely on that. The group fighting for the tier right below the top 2 or 3 involves more teams than people think.

I somewhat disagree with you. FCD Red is a good soccer team. Maybe they are not as powerful as DTS or as skilled as Kicks Selecao or Colvin but they are a very talented team. I do believe they need to adapt to what will eventually happen to them if they do not address some key weaknesses but they are a tough team and can not be taken lightly by anyone at the moment.

I think we are saying the same thing. Or close anyway. Good team, yes. Do they play good soccer? No. A lot of kick and chase. When you have athletes that can run it down sometimes that works. Sometimes it doesn't.

I heard Pulp beat them last week. Solar Haylock this week. Just saying I think they fit somewhere in that 2nd tier that could be made up of up to 5 or 6 teams.

It's weird to say that they are 2nd tied in my mind. I always had them in the first tier but I have never liked the style of play. Just me I guess. You are correct they play a very ugly kick and chase that makes me cringe especially when they just kick it out of bounds in the back as much as they do. Even saying that they have managed to win tons of games. Some of their best players were from non FCD teams last year so it goes without saying that will prob happen again this year. The flocks will arrive to try and kick the ball with the best of them. Just in case they did not know, the score will be kept in ECNL. Ha!!

Fairly even. I would give a very slight edge in time of possession to FCD. The Haylock goalie touched the ball more but no major attacks or missed scoring chances for FCD. FCD lobbed a few shots in but nothing of quality.
