C'mon, Juggle, KC is a pretty reasonable player on the board and you are so quick to dole out the "D" accusations. There's no doubt the cheating that's been surfaced is a shame. I can't ever imagine putting my dd in that terrible situation.

When LHGCL held the board meeting to discuss “Player Passes”, now known as CPP, there were 2 Clubs and ONLY 2 Clubs that spoke in favor of having CPP. Sting and Dallas Texans. Solar said nothing, FCD said nothing. For an hour teams spoke AGAINST it and spoke against it and spoke against it and spoke against it and spoke against it and spoke against it and spoke against it and spoke against it.

Then LHGCL voted it IN.........and that’s all you need to know about LHGCL.

Its business folks who can pay the rent. If the club can't get the bye no one does and then they stack it again the next year. If LH had any sense they would provide byes to the next teams. That would create a competitive environment and right the ship.

Rent is easy to pay. It just makes a difference who that check is made out to, D1, D2.....

It's not rocket science award the byes to the next team.

The next 2 team that qualified. This league is run by the clubs KC have some sense. Why pay for system that is not developing the players that need it.

The system isn't changing KC the clubs that foot the bill call the shots. W all the cheating going on when are we going to see some real excitement?

The CPP rules are clear and there are no loopholes. ECNL is just another league that is not NTX sanctioned. All CPP players must be NTX registered and on a NTX roster within a club. 1 player can play down a division for "development reasons" and 2 players can play up for "development reasons". No player can be on 2 LH rosters on the same day.. the last 3 games you can only CPP 1 player. Given D1 is the highest competitive division in NTX, ECNL, TCL, and JDL cannot be considered higher because they are not recognized by NTX soccer. Not sure how DA/DA2 will be viewed.

The rules are clear and there are no loopholes. What sucks about the system is it clearly benefits the big clubs vs. the independents and the CPP process keeps teams in various divisions when they have absolutely no business being in the said division. It forces teams that stand on their own to potentially drop a division and potentially lose good players to the teams that have absolutely no business being in said division. It happens every single year. The system sucks and needs to be revisited by our leaders both club and league.

Now that we have JDL, DA and potentially DA2 there is absolutely no reason to have a CPP process because there are ample avenues for "development"

Cheating is nothing new. Next. If you paid this year it was a wasted season.

It’s much more that post counts. There is a secret handshake and a discount coupon booklet too.

Cheating and CPP are two completely different things. Can a coach cheat at CPP? Sure they can, but I will bet it is a stupid low percentage. These situations with older players playing in younger leagues are just ridiculously annoying.
