It's all laid out here ...

I'd say if it's posted on the USYS site, it's reputable information. Not sure about the non GDA clubs that have qualified, but it mentions something in the announcement of honoring those that have earned Premier spots this year, next year --
BigE, isn't FPL going to be a separate league but those teams might also participate in the USYS National League? Or are you suggesting that FPL will be the regional league for USYS? I recognize they are calling it the National League Frontier Conference, but they aren't saying that it is only the GDA clubs that are included with their second teams.
From what I've heard and read, the way I understand it all is that FDL (the "P" is silent fellas ) will be completely taking the place of the current SRPL for USYS next year and going forward. If ya have a look at both the USYS and the Texans announcement (https://www.dallastexans.com/news_article/show/912843?referrer_id=842305), I'll bet you'll be able to put 2 and 2 together yourselves.
If you still have questions, I'd bet Chris over at USYS would be happy to answer ... cmoore@usyouthsoccer.org
I'm not seeking to create a debate. We shouldn't have to put two and two together and I'm mostly just curious because the Texans' press release says, "In addition to the FDL league, teams will be allowed to play in USYS National League . . ."
BigE, tell me I’m wrong. Or admit you are wrong: https://www.soccerwire.com/news/clubs/youth-girls/six-girls-da-clubs-expand-to-compete-in-frontier-development-league/
Really ... This ^? Astounding. May wanna read through that one again.

The reality is here, Mr. FoReal, that sifting through and posting another club announcement in an effort to debate (exactly what you mentioned ya didn't want to do) 8+ hours after the convo ended is a bit perturbing isn't it? Especially given that not a shred of this one contains anything at all contradictory to any of what I've written today (err ... yesterday). So. Alrighty then.
The convo didn’t end just because you said so. Mighty arrogant of you. How is this not contradictory:
In addition to the FDL league, teams will be allowed to play in USYS National League, Regional Championships, and the National Series State Cup. This comes on the heels of US Youth Soccer’s announcement for new league structure and unveiling of its the new US Youth Soccer National Leagues Program for high-level competitive leagues that will kick-off in the 2018-19 season.

I was there. I saw what was done. I saw it with my own 2 eyes.
Bullets were flying. Parents had to duck to avoid the bs being thrown around. One Solar coach had to remove the knife from his back.

Ummm that, or it was surprising it didn't end because of your "I'm not seeking to create a debate" commentary, and was perturbing because it was eatin' at ya so much all afternoon + evening that you thought you'd dig a little deeper just to try and prove anything I had to say as wrong. Since you did indeed wish to create a debate, I guess I'll go ahead and end er now ...
I posted this just a few posts up and an hour so before you chose to chime in yesterday --
"You may have AG --
The FDL participants will be allowed to play HS ball, and the matches will not abide by FIFA substitution rules.
As we all know, many of the kid's (errr ... parent's) significant gripe with GDA are those two items. For those that opted for ECNL because of them, they now have FDL if they wish + can participate in State Cup and the Regional/National USYS Championships."
I literally listed what you are confusing as contradictory as one of the benefits of FDL. Hope that didn't sting too much.

Trust me, nothing you say can sting me. I'm honestly just trying to get a straight answer that you now seem unwilling to provide. Will FDL be its own stand-alone league or is it the regional league for the USYS National League? I still can't tell from the press releases and I believe your responses are contradictory.

Maybe it's that I just don't have your answer? I think it has been clearly established here as the latter, and after reading through this bad boy (we're talking really reading, like you had to do while cramming back in school), your question still isn't answered, maybe your answer just doesn't exist. Posting now for the 3rd? time. Good luck Sir (or Madam)!

Really read that article, BigE, and tell me where it says that the Frontier Development League formed by the TX and OK GDA clubs is the same things as the US Youth Soccer National League Frontier Conference. Thanks.

And I thought that Solar was trying to be a club of possession style play. Now they are going back to the age of direct boot ball. Long live NTX soccer.

I thought they were the same by looking at the map. Makes me feel dumb but I still like pictures in literature. That’s why I didn’t bother to read the whole thing.ForReal wrote:Big Ern wrote:Gotcha FoReal ... we believe you (wink, wink)

It’s not that simple.
It’s pass when you can...boot when you can’t.
When the practice location is revealed then maybe able to see how this MAY turn out. I’m still in disbelief and so are some of the parents. Confused and sort of blindsided. The thing that made DTS was the S. If that doesn’t exist anymore then what do you have?
