04/03 Looking for Team-Good Player

Good Player Looking for a team.

Would like to play for a competitve team in the upcoming season.

Not interested in USWNT, parents don't want me living at home until I'm 30 because I can't support myself.

Not interested in trying to earn a 10% scholarship to CrappystateU.

Don't want to practice every waking hour to achieve whatever it is to be achieved.

Trying to avoid 14 year old girl coaches that act like 14 year old girls.

Would like to play with a team that stays together for a few years so we can get the most out of our soccer experience.

Hoping to avoid coaches that tend to get arrested after the saturday game.

Would be great to be able to play local teams and not travel twice a month.

Would also prefer not to pay over $2,000 per year.

Would like to find a team that is second to my HS experience.....kind of an extracurricular kind of thing.

For some reason, I've had a hard time finding teams like this. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

You have it all wrong - here is what you need and plenty of these to be found:

A team that plays in 4 Leagues (plus High School)

3 out of 4 of those leagues requiring travel to play mediocre competition

Summer vacations are planned for you with 3-5 national tournaments.

You get to pay for the coach to travel, drink and fight. Send your wife on these trips at your own risk.

A payment plan tailored to each family based on income and your child's contribution to the team.

That degree from CrappyStateU will guarantee your daughter will be living with you well into her 30's so enjoy the extra family time! She can take out trash and mow the lawn to help you pay off the student loans.

Fun? The signing party will be fun but otherwise you are on your own!

You can have a break on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day...otherwise expect to be practicing, scrimmaging or playing in a meaningless match in Oklahoma.

Any coach that is worth a damn is getting arrested after Saturday's games, and is drinking like a fish on travel tournaments...OR, it's a wasted year.
