kids on bench

do any parents out there have experience playing for a team with 5 - 6 kids on the bench in 9v9 or 7-8 on 11v11? curious how the playing time went and if your kid is happy. thanks for the feedback.

5-6 is normal for a bench playing 11v11 and with the risk of injury, illness, vacations, etc etc you want enough players when needed.
Contrary to that is the impact to someone's self worth, playing only limited minutes per game can lead to "not enjoying" the game. I would look for teams where you are part of the starting 11 or maybe 1st sub at minimum.
Plenty of teams to choose from to be stuck on a bench and not playing.
