I believe I saw that Nichols is now Solar 09 Austin; new coach.

Yeah, Solar Nichols is now Solar Austin. Another prominent missing team is Sting Saldivar.

So much for the three teams per club rule. There are 9 Solar teams and 5 DT teams listed. It was ridiculous to think that the three teams idea would pan out.

Maybe they will put all the solar teams in on division. That way only one will get the bye. Same for DT

This doesn’t make sense. They should try to get the 3 best teams to get byes so snake style seeding makes the most sense (leaving room for some discretion by the league director to make sure the divisions are balanced).

Not only is it the most fair thing to do for everyone but it also makes it more fair when the qualifying tournament comes around and lower gold level teams aren’t placed in a bracket with a team that should have already got a bye. Some teams will be placed in a JCL division with other strong teams from the same club so they didn’t get through and are now taking a spot from another team in qualifying that shouldn’t have had to face them.

For instance, only 1 of Solar’s top 3 teams would get a bye. The other two will undoubtedly qualify in the qualifying tournament but they will be put up against other teams that won’t get through b/c they had to play teams that should have already got a bye.

I’m assuming this seems like a good idea to you b/c your team is FCD.
