If calling you out for being an egomaniac and pathological liar is all I got...you're right. Carry on pal.

I do consider BWG a friend on the sidelines going back to old '01 days, but keep reaching Cardi.

Two keepers on a team at a young age will help your player develop her feet if she is able to get field time. Later on if she chooses to play keeper 100% then you want to find a good club with a good training program. Our club has a good program with her practicing 2 times a week for 1 hour after her team practice in a small group. Works great for us. Our club seems to only carry a single keeper on their teams which is great if she wants a full time gig. Just make sure she really wants to be a keeper because the position calls for commitment.

I'd agree with most here that at U12 and under, it is paramount to get some field time in during match play. And always better to have a coach that forces his/her GKs through the same activities as his/her field players during training sessions.
That being said, it is very common at the higher levels of ~U13+ to have two GKS on the roster that each go close to 50% when it comes to match play ... GKs get most of their work in training (both team and private) anyway. It's also good to combat complacency which can be common in older GKs that are running solo. Plus if they do move on to play in college, NT, or pro, they'll no doubt have 1-2 others with them on those rosters.

Dude, if you only knew how far off you are.
Don't have anything near an '07, and haven't had a kid play for Solar since 2011. I have been through, and am currently going through, the NTX select sport and college recruiting process with multiple kids in multiple sports. Whether or not anyone on here thinks my comments and opinions based on my experiences are worthwhile or completely worthless, is solely up each and every one of you to decide on your own. Never has, and never will stop me from posting them when I feel like it.
I dunno know..... thought I saw you out there at the Solar 07 FDL game DTX

True, and the other reason for this is injury. The closer to the top of the totem pole, the more coaches hate having to use a field player as backup if the GK misses time. GK's take a beating, not only in games, but in training as well.

According to Cardi R, I'm a pathological liar. So who knows, maybe I was?
