Ok all you soccer junkies, who you got for this weekends State Cup Tournament? I will go out on a limb and take D'Fetters Black. I know not much of a limb. Second place will be the interesting one. For that give me Texans FDL.

After watching this weekend games, I think I’ll switch a couple. Though D’F Black could be first, I’m going to pick them 2nd. So;

Did all kids get to play? Pretty sure a kid got told right before game that she wasn’t playing......

So all the kids that were actually on a roster did get to play...Oh, I'm sorry did you think joining the "pool" of players teams use meant that your kid gets to play and then go to the swim party after the game and get her juice box?

Kid switched teams to get away from a psycho....approved by DOC to play with another team within the club.... old coach walked over and said still on roster. Child couldn’t play state cup. That being said....understand the character of that coach. Roster was approved by State Cup officials prior to this by the way.

Funny how things work out.....my kiddo can’t play with her new team because of her old coach, but she can go sit on the old coaches bench.

The Father of this child is a known trouble maker and team hopper. The only way a child ends up on two rosters is because the parent didn’t do their due diligence in getting proper transfers, permissions or releases.
This wasn’t a coaching issue. It was a parenting issue.
It wouldn't be fair to any of the girls on either team if they ended up being disqualified over paperwork.
And it isn’t the coaches job to initiate said paperwork.

it's not even a paperwork issue if it's within the same club. It's a simple CPP. My guess is coach/parent issue and someone is being a weener that has caused the issue.

FYI: Even on a transfer within the club the current coach has to sign off on the child being transferred and can refuse...
But that isn’t the case here. The coach didn’t refuse. They were never presented with the paperwork.
There are obviously rules in place for State Cup about one child being on two rosters or the child wouldn't have sat.
And “inter club agreement’s” don’t supersede tournament rules. Especially if it’s an NTSSA tournament.
The parent may not have thought this late in the season going through all the hoops and getting all the signatures would matter. But he was wrong.
And I could be wrong but don’t transfers need to be done prior to April 1st?

Let’s be real here. The DOC said he would take care of it. The coach in question told the receiving coach she did not want her quess playing for them. DOC blames this on the former coach and on the receiving soccer organization in another city. This dad is a troublemaker....yep for managers or coaches that do the wrong thing by kids. Let me help with that....should not be cussing at a guest coach, should not be cussing at refs, should not have parents coaching JDL game, I could go on, but no point! Also, slight conflict of interest....
