Judging by the scores, it seems like the games are getting closer and closer every week. Any big surprises this weekend? Crazy games?

FCD Marin making a strong showing these past few weeks.
Otherwise the games went about as expected, but as you said, scores getting closer.

What's going on with FC Dallas? Is it the same team playing in the first two brackets, two different teams or a mix of kids that you never know who will show up? Marin hasn't been coaching the team under his name lately.

Colvin tied and Cosmos black lost. Do the rosters get locked going forward?

Looks like JCL has a time machine though.
Our fates are already decided, so no need to continue discussions.

Heard a rumor the Evans team is breaking up. If that's true, maybe it explains some odd crystal ball results?

I've heard different things - not sure if they are breaking up but rumor is they have lost some players for sure. I was wondering about the 0 - 0 tie under a future date.

I answered that question 2 days ag...I mean just now, today.  Definitely on 5/6/19 and not 5/8/19.

They've been lurking - maybe they're just coming together at the right time or maybe they picked up someone who helped get them back over the hump.

That Morgan division is tough.  On any given weekend the top 6 teams in that division could beat each other, and even make a game of it against the top few in FBR.

That makes sense Cerv. Scores alone seldom tell the whole story.

It seems talent is starting to congregate at some clubs as we get closer to signing day and preparing for classic league.

Did Kicks Voutier not end up playing this weekend? Score shows 0-0 still.

Evans has lost players. I believe one of his stars went to Texans Samba and will lose a couple more before signing day. Sad!

Colvin has had injuries for 2 weeks now. I heard they were playing only 8 girls for a short while during a game 2 weekends ago. That’d be scary!

We all called it that the Morgan Division would have the toughest competition. Most of those teams are very good!

I think that the Lloyd Division has the closest race. It could go to any of the top 3 teams.

Morgan is definitely most competitive week in week out. Look at the # of draws in that division. Crazy. Lloyd is going to come down to next weekends match b/w Angelone and Samba, most likely. Grado and Angelone kept it interesting by losing two weekends ago.

Like Eddy said, some of the teams are already starting the consolidation process. FCD Marin and Webb each had a handful of really good players. They are playing them together as an A team in both leagues when they play top teams so there are technically 3 teams... Webb, Marin and the super team created by combining the top players of the two. The A team isn’t playing under one name and sometimes the A team doesn’t play in either league and sometimes they play in both... it just depends on if Marin or Webb is scheduled to play a top team and then they combine. They play a style similar to past Webb teams. The other clubs have not yet consolidated talent and may not even do so till after the first year of select.

Lots of changes are coming in the next 12 months so I wouldn’t make too many conclusions or assumptions about scores on a week to week basis.

Regarding Evans, Coach Evans is no longer the coach of that team so they are going through a transition period.

I hope this answers some questions asked on this thread.

Lots of changes probably coming in the next 2 months, let alone the next 12.

My daughter used to play on the (formerly) Evans team. I don't know if the rumors stated here are true or not, but I can say there is a lot of talent on that team. Regardless of if they stay together or end up going separate ways, the girls will be just fine. It's a special group of players and friends.

We messed up last weekend putting in the wrong score, it would not let us fix it. We made them aware and they told us once the game is actually played, we can then edit the score. Sorry, our mistake. Solar 09 Megli/Evans

The other divisions are very competitive, but I still think 2 best teams (D'efeeters and Solar South) in the Hamm division are still the top dogs....Will take combined super teams to catch their talent.

@bigballer - I agree that D’Feeters Voutier and SS are the top teams for the 09s. No one can deny it. The talent is amazing!

I think Voutier will get the bye even if SS defeats them next time. The GD is quite big.

Well the top teams rarely play each other. So how do you assume SS and Voutier are the best. I can agree with Voutier, but SS, Angelone, Samba are all pretty close. Then you got Grado and Webb/Marin big strong. and fast. Lloyd division is pretty stacked too. Don't forget about Spirit only losses are too Voutier and SS.
