Yes FF you did lose your best player to Glotz. Truth hurts I know. I heard you lost more than that too. Guess it didnt take the parents to long to realize what a joke Fever is.
Toe Poker you know Solar shares players during tournaments. So Barnes beating South means poo. The Webb team I saw playing Stav this sat sure looked like they were missing some girls. Now the one that beat Feet on sun looked like her team.
Dont worry people Lake Highlands is not that far away. Then we will see. Top 20 playing each other.

Its fitting that you call yourself redcard, because that is exactly what you need to give yourself right now. Don't pretend to know what is going on with Fever. It is clear you have no idea. We lost one player, no more, no less. She was a solid player, but we've got better. That's the truth, and it appears that the truth hurts you more than it does me, our coaches or our team.

Shopping and left are two totally different things. Don't think for a second that there aren't any parents on your team shopping as well.

True, but when players are knowlingly shopping, it seems to lead to an unstable environment with the other parents. At least thata is what I've seen and think. Not saying this is the case here as I don't know.

SRSA Webb was missing players against Stav, true. But niether Stav or Webb teams played as well as i've seen them play in the past. Both teams are normally better than what you saw on Saturday. Feet has some very good players, starting with the keeper. Point is; all of us on here have DD's on great teams, with great coaches, and hopefully great parents. Remember they are 9 and still developing. My kid maybe a top player today, but that doesn't mean she'll be a top player tomorrow. Genetics emerge as they get older and I suspect things will change for most of us. So relax and enjoy the watching all these girls on all these team compete. Also, stop picking on Fever, it doesn't accomplish anything.

Knowingly or unknowingly both are common. Some parents will tell the coach and others keep it secret. What's worse, honesty, or keeping it secret? I personally told our last coach we were looking around. I didn't want him to hear it from someone else. Academy at its core is unstable.

FF, put down the crack pipe my friend. Look around at the Fever camp... you will notice 2 players gone. (both ex-DT Penn players and now both ex-Fever players).

Starting to wonder if you are even related to that team at all. You are terribly uninformed or a flat out liar. Not sure which one.

Just when I thought we were going to start getting some fun to follow rankings, we are back to a modified "trouble in fever camp" thread. How is this happening? Why do we all care so much? And where can we all get the help we need to recover from our sad addiction to this forum? I knew I should have just kept occasionally lurking. Now I find myself wanting to assist every poster for whom I MIGHT have an applicable comment. And I definitely feel the desire to redline many comments for grammatical and spelling errors. And now, my one hope for a thread to mimic the beautiful 01 ranking threads I see, is beginning to unravel like an old pair of panties losing the elastic. Sad

(figured I might as well throw out a panties reference to see how long it will take one of the "grand masters" to blow this thread up--thereby crushing my 02 ranking hopes). I guess I should have been more encouraging of the prior posters who put together the initial attempts--and the great alphabetical list of all 02 teams in NTX. Just didn't see it going this direction.

I am just waiting for the genetics that tondo is talking about to kick in. my daughter has professional soccer/athlete blood in her genetics from both sides. I hope he is right. Then I will finally take her out of rec and play get with the great NTX soccer academy leagues affraid

Not particularly impatient (at least not about this) . . . just bored! And we are running a personal family experiment: what is the difference between a DD NOT playing academy at all--just select (our oldest DD who is a senior this year)--as compared to DDs starting academy at U8 and U7. Will let you know results in 9 to 10 years! Most likely difference will just be less $$$ in our bank accounts! But we've run out of time and patience for coaching rec, and have NO desire to just "get what you get" with rec coaching, so we've jumped in. And actually, due to the nature of NTX soccer these days, I honestly think there will be a more of a big difference in options for our younger DDs than there would be if we stuck with rec only as long as we did with the oldest DD--just because so many people have their kids in academy at birth! But that also depends on the quality of rec programs in your area I think--or your willingness to coach your own kids.

Good luck with your DD--and with all that good blood running through her veins, I'm sure tondo's genetic predictions are correct in her case and she'll be force on the fields in no time. My younger DDs are not on ranked teams either--in fact youngest isn't even playing SDL this season. We are in it for the development and "equal to or better than" competition for them both--and definitely for not having to coach them ourselves anymore (not that coaching wasn't fun for the time, but gotta move on when it isn't).

Ya I saw the thread going back towards the Fever animosity again. As a parent I just want my DD to have a great experience to Academy right now. Because Select is right around the conner and thats were the Real Soccer starts!

I am a long time lurker and seldom poster. Although I enjoy reading these rankings threads, I don't like to get in to the rankings battles myself. I like to see how it all plays out on the fields, and usually the rankings are pretty close. However, most all of the top 10 rankings on here consistently have Solar Dynamo somewhere in the group of #3-#7/8. It is still early in the season, so we will see how these rankings play out and change over the next few weeks.

Looks pretty good, but you left out Solar-Dynamo....not sure if that was intentional, but I would definately put them in front of Samba and Solar East!

Honestly I think this is probably the top 10 teams in general and any given week their ranking could shift a spot or 2. I just think overall they are the top 10 group.

Puting 03's in Standings ok.

Putting them in Rankings not ok, I dont see Fever 02 or Rowdies 02 in the 01 Rankings. They both are playing in the 01 division.

I can respect your opinion in regards to SRSA '03. I just appreciate the recognition our girls have received from you guys/gals. Our girls went 16-0 in the last SDL season in the '02 D2 division. We greatly appreciate SDL allowing us to play up to D1. We lost our first game in D1 to DT Glotz, but was a close game to the wire and we were excited to see we could compete. The top 10 '02 teams are great teams and I personally look forward to meeting some of you parents on the sidelines this Spring.
