Not positive but I think new look = big, strong, tough, aggressive.

OG = silky, smart, deceptive, brilliant

That's an interesting assessment TMCC, I am not familiar with the OG mid Fever has, I will assume you are a Fever parent/fan? It seems you are implying Penn's Mid is merely a physical player. Penn's mid is athletic and aggressive this is undeniable, however, I observed Penn's team last year and several notable observations of her were made: (1) she has great field vision, (2) her passing skills are exceptional with an uncanny ability to place the ball exactly where her team mates should be or needed it, (3) She could control the field, play both sides of the ball well and has a great shot. IMHO I think she is an athletic AND intelligent player, it would appear the Fever camp is on the way to building a powerhouse '02 team, a formidable opponent...provided they can keep it together.

You are correct on all fronts. My comment was more to take a dig at the other thread entitled, best midfielders or something like that. I used the words other posters used to describe the player that came with Penn because that is how they see her. Those posts made it sound like she relies mostly on her strength, rather than her feel for the game. The longtime center mid for Fever is sensational as well. There should be some good combos happening off of these players.

One favor as well, can we all just start calling them Fever again. No more Penns players and Fevers players. Penn is Fever and Smith bleeds Fever. Those two are one. The girls are one.

I don't hear anyone referring to Kat's team as having Murin girls. They are a team. Fever is a team, there is no division. They are one. Don't hate.

I don't know what Solar parents/fans call Kat's team, I merely used the same method to differentiate the two players used in this topic. If I were a Fever '02 parent I'd be proud too. You guys have recieved a gift and a curse though and I'm not hating, with a stacked deck like Fever has it's like the saying "mo' money, mo problems"... A high powered team = high powered expectations, competition on the pitch and off I'm sure coaches are "chomping at the bit" to pick up girls from that team.
