0-0 half Glotz scored first, then FCD tied it up a couple of mins later. Glotz scored again with five min left. Same thing FCD tied it up again. Great game. FCD has been exposed. There win over Glotz and then Rowdies in a tourney awhile back clearly shows they had 01's on their team. Perfectly legal because it was an 01 tourney, but their parents came on the forum" no we had no 01's" Haaaaa. Clearly they thought they would run right over Glotz team with the actions of their parents. They had real trouble accepting that tie.

Very strong game for our Feet girls we starting to improve at 11v11 good job girls. No Drama.
I watched DT Glotz-FCD game, the Ref had to address the Glotz parents a couple of times then finally having to speak to the coach about their outburst. I always get a kick out parents like that. Makes for great entertainment just like their posts.

So let's clear up a few things and state both sides. The ref addressed the parents ONCE.
What wasn't seen was an FCD dad telling a mother to shut her "pie hole" to be referred to here on out as "PH" because of celebrating a goal. I believe the PH comment came about because said dad felt that the comment was made amongst FCD parents on their "side". Here is a brain teaser for you: The comment was made in front of the same parents during both halves. There were several FCD parents on Texans side during first and second half cheering their DD and their team on which is their right if they choose to do so. No Texan parent ever said one word to them. Not sure about the necessity of the "PH" comment.
Look, both teams played great. Give credit to each of the team's girls for going and playing their hearts out. Could have gone either way.

[b] Yes, I am sure there could be an entire thread dedicated to this topic. However, since there doesn't seem to be a handbook posted that clearly defines the proper etiquitte, it is left up to those on the sidelines to decipher. Oh, the stress of it all. In this situation, it is prudent to note that the mother that needs to "shut her PH" began the game sitting on the "side" that her DD started playing on. To the left were a group of FCD parents (gasp!) on the same side. Yes, imagine that. Can you believe it? ha ha. Here comes the classic cliche, "If you are going to throw stones, do not live in a glass house."
Moral of the story here is equitability and consistency. If you are going to have an opinon and vocalize it in front of everyone on the sideline, your side of the street had better be clean.
And the other FCD Dad that went ballistic thinking that someone else wanted to "touch" him. Don't flatter yourself. Nobody wanted to touch you.

TX Glotz parents get on here and rant and rave on why they should be a top team on on on on. Great job, you are a top team you beat one of the very top 02 teams you have proven yourselves. I have seen your posers knock down, FDC, Rowdies,Fever, SRSA etc etc etc. "They're not that great", "game wasn't that close" "we dominated" (blah blah blah).Not all of your posers... but some, you should pull up some of your own personal comments. But now you are there.... a top team. Hooray! But with being a top team you have to deal with all kind of crap, either in person or on the forum, either true or false. People come at you left and right b/c here on the forum no one likes a winner for long! Moral to this story..................Be careful what you wish for! Guess classy is in the eye of the beholder? Telling a mother to shut her pie hole while holding her 2 year old daughter? Maybe Klassy, but not classy.
