'02 Scores 3/19-3/20

Guess classy is in the eye of the beholder? Telling a mother to shut her pie hole while holding her 2 year old daughter? Maybe Klassy, but not classy.

Rowdies, FCD, SRSA, Fever, etc all have posters championing their team and touting their accomplishments (or in the words above..blah, blah, blah). You are right though, once you (using the word you globally here and not literally) become a threat or move up the ranks, you become a target. Comes with the territory. Point taken.

I've never seen a poster from any of those teams (Rowdies, FCD, SRSA, Fever,..etc ...) saying their team is the best. I think in general people are just curious on scores and maybe a little color on how the game went.

huh? Tondo, what are you commenting on? Didn't see where the statement was made about being the best. Touting accomplishments or rooting for your team as in talking about good games, improvement, etc does not necessarily mean anyone is saying theirs is the best. Can posts be pulled that support the statement that posters come on here and "champion their team" from those teams specifically? Yes,there are plenty of them. Time to go to bed. Yawn. I have been out at the pitch this season and observed several instances where the Glotz parents have been warned for yelling at the referee and the coach had to be warned. In fact, I believe the so called PH has been busted before with her unfiltered mouth. I have yet to see any other teams coach get warned for parent unruliness. It seems to me that the inmates are running the asylum on the Glotz team. Don't know really anything about Glotz, but he doesn't seem to be able to control his parents. In fact, I overheard several parents say they are disgruntled with him. Don’t think I want my DD playing for that team. Not a good example for the kids and competitive youth sports.

Superman99 you sure do know alot about Glotz team and parents. You show me a team with no disgruntled parents, and I will show you a team with no subs.

I heard DT South 02 beat Solar Stav 4-1....all hearsay though.

Great game for both Feet & DT. I will say that DT was robbed of their goal on the free kick. The head ref (the female) never raised her hand to indicate an indirect kick for the DT kicker. Also the foal was unclear at the time. We the DT parents thought the foul was a trip but after the game was told (by the male ref) it is a cleat to the chest so dangerous play. The Feet defender just got her foot up to high on a hard bounced ball. We agree it would have been an indirect but these refs need to be clear with their calls at the time of the play.

No slam on Feet as they played a hard fought game. Both goalies had their work cut out for them.

I read your post happyg and it made me think for a second. Why would a Rowdie parent(you clearly are)care so much or be so worried about a Glotz post. The Rowdies have been #1 forever. They have beaten Glotz any time the two have played. If your a Rowdie it does not matter to you what the lower teams are saying about each other, they are all beneath you. Thats the way Rowdies have always looked at the forum. I have talked to a Rowdie parent personally about this. Then it HIT ME. happyg is angry and bitter about Glotz getting so much better(not nearly the best but alot better)but why?? I think it's because happyg is a former Glotz player. Now that player struggles to get off the bench for DM. It drives you crazy seeing Glotz team take off with you gone. The grass is not always greener is it? You can fire back and call me names and say it's a lie, but deep down you know Im right. Your post exposed you.

hmmm...first time on this forum. Had to jump right in to DEFEND Glotz and his reputation....even though not on '02 team. I have only experienced professionalism on and off field from this coach. The parents on our team also show high level of professionalism in controlling their during the game commentary. IF we have ever gotten too loud with our ref disagreements, be sure Glotz has called us out on it. To those who stated " they really don't know anything about GLOTZ" and then continue to undermine...sounds like " jealousy conspiracy theory" against a top notch highly regarded coach that from what I see has a winning team on his hands with this 02 team.

Yes we have had "the talk" from Coach Glotz.....he puts us in our place when we earn his ire! Of course I never do anything wrong....I usually use a high pitched voice to throw the coach and ref off then point fingers at one of the moms! Yes...Glotz's team does have let's say "committed"(passionate) parents. It's what keeps this team so close...both the parents and kids!
