information please

We are looking to sign up my DD team in the SDL, but looking for some info:
1. I saw that the league fee was 1300.00 for U10 11v11. Is that for one season or for the year?
2. Does this 1300.00 fee include referees?
3. What fields are these games played at?
4. How many divisions are there? and can you request what division you want to be in?

Any information yall can get me would be awesome. I can't find a contact number for SDL.

i am really not a fan of sdl, but here are unbiased answers to your ?s (which i think are correct answers).

1. one season
2. yes
3. blue sky in the colony, tfc in allen @ stacy and 121, and (what used to be) ATF (andromeda) up in plano. i dont know what the situation is with atf now.
4. there are divisions but they are pretty fluid. if i recall you play 2-3 games in a melting pot and then they figure out the rest of the season schedule based on those results. and yes you can request a division for what its worth.

another thing to consider is if you are @ U10 and have not played sdl before, i dont see the point in starting now. it doesnt sound like a good fit for the last year of academy.

May I suggest the all new KAL

I was going to recommend the EAL, a much lower cost and extremely well run league that plays primarily at centrally-located Railroad Field in Lewisville", but the KAL sounds pretty sweet, too.

Not to mention that in SDL you pretty much have to shank the other team with a sharp object, for a foul to be considered.

You are on the wrong message board if you think that is whining. Go join an American Rules Footbal message board.

It was sarcasm, because anything goes in SDL. They let them play.........even if it is unreasonable. There are laws to the game.
