I can combine them all in BCS style as we have seen the '01s do in the past.

If any of you are so brave.... we could rank 1 - 30. We all know LHGCL is coming soon and it would be fun to see how out human/bcs rankings gets close to calling the QT seeding.

How does Polaris drop 3 spots with a tie to team above them, Sting West Drop 5 spots with at 6-0 win and FC Dallas Renfro moves up 3 spots with a 1-0 loss? Seems backwards. Do any SDL scores get factored into the system?

NVM, I didnt see the PLD Tourny scores which would explain the Polaris drop..........

TMCC, I'm not blasting you, but the only major changes in your "top 11" and the FBR rankings is moving Fever Red up five spots (hmm...) and dropping Feet completely out of the rankings. You also spent yesterday telling everyone regarding the D'Fever rumor that Fever doesn't want anything to do with Feet. Why do you continue to show hate towards the D'Feeters club? Just curious

We have some on here already that have been pretty good with the human rankings...

RoidRage is good for one, has a good feel and its a good list. How about AP pollster, where are you? We need AP Pollster in the mix, so we can see the avatar again.

There is absolutely zero hate for D'Feeters, just facts.
1. There is no merger between Fever and Feet.
2. They jumped 8 spots because of how they played in Plano. We all know that the team that played in Plano is not their team. Infact one of their dads said they only had six players and picked up 7 guest players. So although Feet played really strong in Plano, it really wasn a true representation of Feet. I did see that maybe some Glotz players went over to Feet, and if this is the case, then maybe next week they break into the top 10.

As far as ranking Fever in the 4 hole.....I think that is pretty accurate. The last two times they played Bennett (Glotz) they tied and beat them the time before that, they beat South the last time they played them, they have tied Webb and played them really tough in Plano the 4 to 0 result was not indicative of the game, and in Plano they gave Higg a really tough time. They did lose to Dynamo last year, but Dynamo needs to play stronger competition IMO before I would move them up.

Ouch, I just wanted to know where your recent interest (or disinterest) of Feet came from. You seem to take all opportunities to not only build up your team (hmm..), but to knock down D'Feeters.

But as long as your opinion is based on "facts," and you're spreading those "facts" to the free world, then use real facts. Fact, Feet played in Plano with three 02 guesting players (who were wonderful), every other player is part of the D'Feeters club. Fact, Feet won in PT the week before Plano against CVFC without guests. Fact, Feet beat Fever Red 4-0 in Plano, and no, all the goals weren't scored by guesting players. I'm not putting down Fever Red at all, great players who are well coached, and I'm giving them credit (unlike you) for all their success they've had, which you've reminded everyone of, again.

Don't worry about it, I won't post on this issue again, maybe you and the Feet parents can enjoy a laugh together after the merger!!

I am sorry you are taking offense to my posts. Seems you are hypersensative when it comes to Feet. I don't think any of my comments about Feet, in either thread were dishonest or hurtful......unless you think me not wanting to drive an extra 40 minutes to practice, is hurtful. If so, I apologize.

You asked me 2 questions and I answered them honestly. What more do you want? All you are trying to do is start crap and I'm not biting. If Feet and Fever do merge, I will come on this forum and sing the praises of your brilliance.

Can the rest of you out there help me out? Am I wrong in not including Feets wins in Plano because of the # of guest players? Seems logical to me. Maybe I am wrong, but when over half your team isn't your team, I don't think you can honestly support the rise in the rankings. I am not trying to take anything away from the Feet players its just that 2+2 dosent = 5.

I would agree with you in theory without reservation but also having an 01 who just went into Lake Highlands the FBR rankings don't allow for that level of subjectivity. Last year everytime we played certain teams they were loaded with guest players and their ranking was unaffected in a negative manner by such. It will all come out in the wash at qualifying however as come July 1 the guest playing is no more. The only sorry part about it is some teams were seeded a bit higher than they should have been in qualifying because of it. Believe it or not, the 01 FBR system was almost spot-on against Lake Highlands seedings and finishing positions so there is some method to the madness.

I will agree with tmcc on a point. I will also add a tiny piece of advice. Take it or leave it.
Human polls are done to factor in subjective data, like guest players that fbr can't calculate. Using 'Feet as an example, I will put them somewhere very close to where they were prior to PLD tourney. 'Feet had, IMO, the top forward in the '02 age group, a top central midfielder, and a very good player that played the sweeper role guesting in the tournament. That makes a HUGE difference. On to top of that I heard that the 'Feet coach got into some verbal spats with parents, and he was ejected from a game. Can't see this as a good thing for recruiting.

All that said, I do have something to add regarding human rankings. I think you should have enough knowledge to honestly be able to give a decently accurate ranking on the top 20. I know the next ten can be very difficult, especially if you only watch your dd's games and she is on a top ten team.

Also, be careful of excessive homerism. To discount some 4-0 losses is excessive, IMO

Week 2 Rankings

1. SRSA Webb (top 3 are close and almost interchangeable for now)
2. FCD Grubb
3. DT Higgy
4. DT Bennett(can hang with top 3 but see "15 page thread")
5. Fever Red (always tough)
6. Solar Dynamo(real team please stand up..Spanks South 4-1 then ties Sting 0-0)
7. DT South (they really need to move sweeper up to forward..when up top she makes stuff happen)
8. Sting Searls (good def, but can they score?)
9. TFC Elite (played Fever tough)
10. DT Rangel
11. Polaris(needs to score on higher ranked teams)
12. Waco Blast (falling fast)
13. Defeeters ( using 03's to help team out...very fast forward and good goalie)

This definitely looks better than the FBR IMHO. I am sure once the scores from the season games which have the true teams playing instead of tourneys with guests...the FBR should shape itself up as well.
