This definitely looks better than the FBR IMHO. I am sure once the scores from the season games which have the true teams playing instead of tourneys with guests...the FBR should shape itself up as well.

Guesting happens in league games too... not just tourney. You'll have to wait 11 months before you can be 100% sure who's playing on any given day.

With all that said, the FBR rankings were VERY accurate going in to LHQT's. It works itself out as more and more games get played.

I agree that there is still guest players for season games...but I seem to have noticed that some teams in tournaments are completely different than they are in season play. That can make a difference in the rankings with tournament scores weighing a lot right now in the beginning of the season. It is fun and entertaining. Thanks for all the work you do on it.

Absolutely, oncwe there is enough game history the results will start to run true headed into spring. Thanks for keeping the FBR alive and well in the 02 age group, it was fun to watch last year with 01s.

What gives GRUBBS Third??? Opposite of Homerism- are you just trying to get attention away from FCD- come on.............. they are one or two for sure. Difference in Grubb is low numbers(big kuddos to Grubb for being ultra picky) and almost every girl on Grubb is strong- They can rely on any girl to step up, not just the big striker who scores most goals. TX Higgy relies on one up front Center mid and frwds only. EZ to shut down when you do that, that's no secret. I think he does have other players who have some talent-but watch his games this team is all about 1-3 players up top, I rarely saw those three subbed PLD tourney-all plays went thru one player, this tactice will hurt in long run. SRSA on other hand doesnt have as many top notch players (no offense to these great girls) but many hard working non fancy kids, who play very well together as a team. They can always seem to shut down Higgy bc -like it or not Kat is smart and knows their game plan.. I like DTX Higgy ok enough but dont agree they are #1 . Grubbs and SRSA will be the better team in long run, . Just MHO

02 Division top 20 as I see it.

1. SRSA Webb / FCD Grubb. These 2 teams can and will beat each other.
3. DT Higg. This team can beat 1 and 2 on any given sat.
4. DT Bennett. This teamed proved that there is not a big gap between 1-4.
5. Dynamo. Inconsistant but can play really good soccer at times.
6. Fever Red. Has 2 really good forwards, and coach will change game plan if somethings not working.
7. DT South. Scrappy. Dont let your gaurd down.
8. Sting Searls. Tied #5 last week.
9. DT Rangel. Good Talent and hard working girls.
10. Samba Defeaters. Scrappy and only a couple additions away from being a top 5 team.
11. DT Virgil
12. TFC Elite
13. Solar Gio
14. Polaris
15. FCD Renfro Red
16. Solar East
17. Waco Blast
18. Sting Okeefe
19. Fever White
20. Dynasty

To set record straight, earlier post no offense to Higgy team at all , just things I noticed at PLD and 1sr Primetime game. Playing that way leads to three things. Easy to defend, if other cpach scouts at all, caught off-guard: and what happens if one of these two/three get sick-injured etc. Will anyone else have enough game experience to step in quickly and do decent job?. You better believe Kat, Grubb, Searles, Feet coach and others are circling at this moment trying to get some quality girls, who are waiting in the wings while this small group rules. Never know -he could change up plan, but for now very predictable. They will easily be beat atleast twice in league play-my prediction.

1. DT Higgy- plays better quality soccer than SRSA
2. FCD Grubb- predict that they take top spot by seasons end. Team needs to gel after summer hiatus
3. SRSA-is Kat ever going to teach possession? Sorry....very ugly soccer, but have the power to win
4. Dynamo- best posession game in the top ten. Too inconsistent up top
4. DT Bennett- if the whole team stays together then they belong here (I dont believe they have beaten dynamo, and dynamo hasn't beaten them....correct me if I'm wrong)
6. Fever red- always tough. IMO, their slide has begun. Great, athletic bunch of kids, but their lack of good coaching is catching up with them
7. DT South- talented group. Tough
8. TFC Elite- if this group practices together and keeps playing they will only get better
9. Sting Searls- pulled off a tie, but have been totally dominated in all games against teams ranked above them
10. DT Rangel- play well, but not sure if they have a full roster. Any new additions could strengthen them our weaken them. Time will tell
11. Polaris- posession as a team is non existent, but they have a very fast sweeper and some speed up top to keep games close
12. Solar East- good defense, but has trouble scoring
13. DT Vigil- team that started after Penn left. They have quietly been getting better over time
14. D'Feeters- PLD tourney tossed out the window. Now playing with very good '03 to round out the roster. They will get better or worse depending on the talent they add. Again, time will tell
15. Solar Gio-getting better by addition and subtraction of players. Good defense, lack offense
16. FCD Renfro red- good group of players. I predict a climb
17. Tx Spirit North- haven't seen them play lately, but I put them here based off results
18. Sting East- scrappy group of girls that are learning to play well
19. DT fort worth
20. Fever White- new coach. Predict the same fate as red unless the coach teaches much differently

I have watched Grubbs, Higgs, and SRSA. They all have talent and play the game well. I have also seen games where all 3 didn't play great games of possession. They can all beat each other. However, to be fair, SRSA has beaten FCD twice and they beat Higgs by Pk's. They deserve the number one spot until they are beaten. I know SRSA people really don't post alot on here and HIGGS and FCD have alot of fans. Just tryin to be fair.SRSA is truly the team to beat right now and there are some true haters out there.One thing you haven't mentioned about SRSA is that hey have managed to keep the Guest players away and build a TEAM. They have great top players and a great midfielder.

Judging by how many goals or lack of goals SRSA has given up, I would say the defense isn't to bad either. I agree on the possession passing game. I have seen all of the top 3 look good and look bad at it.

I agree. with the top 3 teams, Just pick your pill. Very close race. They are all great girls! If hey are still plaiying soccer in 4 years, they will be great to see.

Rowdies beat SRSA in Prime Time Championship Tourny in PKs (SRSA played better)

SRSA beat Higgy (Rowdies)in PLDT in Pks (Higgy played better)

Very even between the two teams caint wait till yall play again.

and not sure why you are holding back on FCD. i agree Webb and Higg and dead even, but consider FCD a step better. after that, the other top teams can play the three competetively, but none are ready for a shot at the title.

i wont be able to see the grey socks this weekend. its picture day for my u6 rec team. its going to take me all morning to get ready. Laughing
