ECNL Phoenix National Event Schedules Empty ECNL Phoenix National Event Schedules

Post by ChelseaFan 23/09/11, 12:44 pm

The ECNL Schedule for the first national event of the year is out. For our U17s...it can be found at the bottom of the page (October 8-10) here http://www.eliteclubsnationalleague.com/schedules/2011-2012/37603059.201110.html.

Opponents:

D'Feeters face Eclipse (IL), Mustang (CA-N), and San Juan FC (CA-N)
FC Dallas face Sereno (AZ), Colorado Storm (CO), and Sockers (IL)
Lonestars face Arsenal (CA-S), Real SoCal (CA-S), and Michigan Hawks (MI)

Other clubs from the Texas Region (Sting, Texans, Solar, Challenge, and Hurricane) are not participating in this first national event. Looks to me like Lonestars and D'Feeters both will have their hands full with this draw. I think FCD can handle all three of their opponents.

Good luck out there. Show them California punks what real soccer is.

I agree with you CF we will both most certainly have our hands full in Phoenix with the competition our teams are facing. Eclipse has had our number the last two times we have faced them. Both games were competitive but they just seemed to want the victory more than our girls...maybe this time we can change that scenario. Mustangs thumped us pretty good in Denver, I believe handing us one of our worst defeats ever! I'm hoping this time we can give them more of a feel as to how our girls really play the game. Arsenal is a scrappy team and will be a tough match for y'all but ya never know what will happen until you play the game. Good luck. Oh yeah we beat Michigan Hawks somewhere last season but without a doubt they have quality players and we were pleased to come away with a win...good luck against them as well. I guess we will be seeing y'all on Saturday and then off to Houston to face Challenge on Sunday....I'm not real pleased with our schedule for this weekend. Mad

Yes very nice result for Solar, it is never easy getting a positive result when facing the Hurricanes!

The Michigan Hawks parents whining about physical play will wear you down pretty quickly, so be forewarned. What a bunch of pansies.
