The current rankings include teams in multiple leagues (SDL, Primetime, EAL etc.) but, more importantly, all of these teams have played in tournaments this past summer. And they are opinions so feel free to toss yours out as well.

Re: Rankings Question
As long as Dalglish is #1 the method is soundskills wrote:Are the rankings compiled from SDL teams only. I have seen many teams left off of this list. Sting Goodman for example. Are these rankings based on this boards opinion? or is there a true method?

Re: Rankings Question
Since they don't play 04s they will occasionally use 1-2 03s (usually the goalie) even when playing another 04 team playing up (that is usually using a few more 03s)... so it's really sad we can't get these guys together with the other top 04s playing pure 04s.

Re: Rankings Question
While we all know that weekly rankings are going to continue, I find it silly and almost totally opinionated.
Let's take a look at the top teams and think about what some have said about them over the past year:
Dalglish - overall opinion is that they are very deep and talented, but typically play weaker '03 competition that most feel any of the top 5 '04 teams can compete with and beat on many occassions.
DT Rosales - have beat some good teams and lost some weird games. They are pretty tough to guage, but their best player is an '05 who will someday end up moving to her own age group.
DT South - some good wins, some weird losses also. Players sick, on vacation, etc. Don't know if anyone can truly guage this team quite yet.
DT Bennett - seems to be the wildcard team. Beat some of the same teams Dalghish is playing during indoor season. No goalie and 3 '05 players that are very solid, but not superstars. Surely they will be replaced by '04 players as time goes on.
Solar Kennington - very talented, maybe too reliant on one player. However, they have some other VERY good players that might get overlooked. Broken arms to standouts might have affected some results, but overall very good.
Honestly, I think any of these teams can beat each other on any given weekend. Obviously there will be a ton of player movement over the next year or so. Rumors still yet to be answered: Kennington losing steam within club, merger of DT Rosales and Bennett to form Texans top team, Liverpool starting new execellence academy...going to be fun for all to see this play out.
