Man, no hate and absolutely believe they belong in top 8, simply referring to the SOS post awhile back that was all about Fever. Maybe you need to chill out and not read things into situations. My first post was about Fever belonging in the top group.

Don't back pedal because you have been called out. Both of your Fever references were negative, and you know it. "Fever game plan"? I doubt there is a team out there, let alone Fever's, who's game plan is to play in the top division, get beat every week, as you eluded to, just so there SOS is strong.

Your second post, jot your first, was about Fever parents being upset that someone put them in D2. Was I supposed to read into that as you thought they belong in the top 8, or should I stick with your advice and not "read things into situations".

Now I am all confused as to what you want me to do, boss.

Don't know on the split but I think you might have some Fever and Polaris parents unhappy about that as both these two team can make an argument against Renfro and even potentially Defeeters being ahead of them.

Above meaning that Fever should be in top 8, sorry if you are missing that point so nothing negative about Fever there. Fever was simply the example on SOS in a very lengthy post, sorry if the Fever Game plan term got you all bent out of shape. Dead issue, everybody agrees they are good.

Why would they play boys? Is 8 or 9 games of a liitle bit faster soccer really gonna make that much diffrence before qualifying tournament? Why not play Webb, FCD, South, other tough girl teams. Just don't understand thinking behind it. Unless there is another reason!!!!

Correct! From what I hear DT Mereno still has 6-8 Bennett players left(not counting any new players picked up). I assume Higg will loan this team players until they get their roster filled out. This team still has some really good talent on its roster! So with the talent they still have and if Higg helps out ....this team should compete well with Div 1. Plus, it gives Higgs players a opportunity to compete with the other top girls teams and not have the pressure!

Well I heard that when higg cuts some of his 19 girls. They will be on the red team. As far as playing boys the word is they didn't want to lose any girls before signing time. I guess what every works for you.

Why would #1 ranked DT Higg dodge the league that has all their main 02 girls competition?

A) You want to maintain your #1 ranking going into QT. The less often you play #2 - #5, the less chance you have of getting beat when it counts.

B) You want to maintain as much of your player / line-up as possible. If Higg were to lose to teams #3 and #5, people might start looking around and wondering if they really are on the #1 team. The parents on DT Higg are fixated their DD being part of team #1.

C) You believe playing boys is better for development. It makes you play faster and more physically. And, if you lose, there are no ramifications or irate parent meetings.

D) All of the Above

Let’s not forget recent developments. DT Higg looked shaky in the DT Fall tourney, gave up goals, did not win out, and even having what at first glance appeared to be an easier than average slate of teams to play with good time spacing between games. This DT top team is not as dominant a #1 as some might expect for a DT top team.

Yes. 8 or 9 games will make a difference along with the 8 or 9 weeks of practice to play the game faster. 8 or 9 weeks is a pretty substantial amount of training time.

Looks like they / DT Higg 02 are playing up in 01 at the Lonestar tourney. More upside than downside cuz you can lose and get away with it. Is the Grubb team on the list the 02 FC Prem Grubb team? If yes, that might be an interesting match to get a report with details from if they play each other.

Yep it appears there won't be a Higg 02 vs Grubb 02 in this tourny! These teams won't probably lock horns until next spring in LH.

Actually I believe that is Grubb01 and not the 02s. Atleast it was, may have been changed though
