You have to be joking, right? Show me one post of any Polaris related person bragging anything. We were told DT Moreno was gonna mop us up. We came out played a good game and won. Dynamo is the favorite in our bracket (and rightfully so) and now we have the edge to win the bracket. Polaris camp is pretty happy with that. Considering the last time we played Dynamo we were destroyed 4-1.
Look, it is easy to understand. Polaris one year ago couldnt even step on the field with teams like Dynamo and others of the like. These kids have worked hard to compete in the top tier. Please do not get out enthusiasm confused, all we want to do is compete.

That is all we are trying to do, by no means are we a perennial top team or claim to be one, we have a lot of work to do. But it is nice to see a team not cut from the standard cloth of NTX soccer making some noise. Will we continue to grow? I hope so. But at the end of the day it is about the girls having fun and taking the life lessons learned on the pitch into their life.
I hope you can find a special place in your heat for us Hillbillies, quite frankly we are tired of practicing on the hills down here (the ball rolls forever) and we really like the flat fields up here in north Dallas.
People get predictably uptight when a team starts talking smack but its OK is you follow up with good play on the field. I very much doubted the Polaris surge into the top 10 discussion. Turns out that the team is backing up the talk. I think you have now earned the right to talk smack with the best of them. Keep it up!
No one believed in the Oklahoma City Thunder a couple years back. Look at the Western Conference NBA standings now. I still think the Mavs will catch them but it is good the young guns are there. Great championships need great competition. A little smack just makes it more fun.

Parker came to play, any break down on the game?
Talked to coach: solar carried most of the game and had more chances. Apparently got caught game watching and left a bouncer in the box and it was poked in. For their first attempt at competing in gold Parker was pleased with the effort.

Thing is, we don't talk or need to talk smack. Just silly for someone to hate on an up and coming team.dirknowitzki wrote:polarEYEz'd wrote:idontknow wrote:There wasn't 3 or 4 Polaris parents (as well as the coach) on here bragging on their win against Dynamo... what happened? Liverpool will have their hands full with either Texans South or Fever Red, but still a good weekend no matter what happens.
And Polaris has backed up the internet chatter with good play and a great W over Solar Dynamo. Me thinks Polaris will find their way to the finals....

Parker is definitely a gold bracket competitor. Dynamo has an exceptional possession game.
Great to see tight, close games. Way to go 02's
If I'm gonna dedicate some of my super bowl Sunday I'm glad to see this high level of play.

DT South v. Liverpool Rangel
Polaris v. FC Dallas Renfro
Should be good battles...I would guess Polaris & DT South are favored to meet in the final in Vegas...

I watched FC Dallas in this tournament. Anybody know who their new additions are, or are they just guest players? This is not the same FC Dallas as of last week. I see FC and DT finals
