Delay in EAL schedule is for dramatic effect (to create suspense):
To pause for dramatic effect is to attempt to increase a NTX soccer parent's interest in what is to come. A pause can make a NTX soccer parent pay attention because he or she is waiting to see what comes next.

Re: EAL Schedules??
U10 Schedules will NOT be posted on Friday (2/3) due to the following reasons:
- only 7 of 18 coaches replied to our email requesting help with division breakdown
- teams that many consider to be "gold-level" are opting for the silver division. A 4-team gold division means that they would play each other 3 times.
Our goal is to make league play as competitive and enjoyable as possible. We need to balance out the two or three divisions that we create.
Because most of the teams in this age group are playing in the Liverpool and PrimeTime tournaments, this weekend, we are going to wait until Monday to finalize the divisions. We feel that this information will provide a fair estimation of the level of the teams involved. Your team will not be punished for taking this weekend off. But, the data gathered from these tournaments will be very helpful in ranking those teams that are playing. Note: We have a back-up plan, if the tournaments are rained out.
We will do our very best to have the schedules posted Monday night (2/6), play will begin on Sunday (2/12).

Re: EAL Schedules??
We have created three divisions of 6 teams and divided the season into two halves. For the first half of the season, every team will get 5 games (one against the other teams in their division). After the first half of the season, if it is obvious that some teams were placed in the wrong division, we will have "relegation", i.e. the top 1 or 2 bronze teams will move up to silver, the bottom 1 or two silver teams will move down to bronze, the top 1 or 2 silver teams will move up to gold, the bottom 1 or two gold teams will move down to bronze. Then, we will post the second half of the season.
Our goal is to provide the most competitive league. No one develops when they win or lose by 5 goals every week.
