Now that is just down right WRONG to slam a bunch of girls that worked hard today. While my dd does play for Man U we are not one that roster both teams. I know they other 6 that are not on United's roster weren't at either United's game either. Our coach would NEVER beef up his roster to get a win.

I am tired of the trash talk my team takes from those that do not know anything. If you don't have factual information then you shouldn't be spouting lies. Remember when you point your finger you just remember you have a whole lot more pointing right back at you.

In fact, I did see that... (We tied them too, several weeks ago)... Let's be clear that it was Kennington's B team (not "Solar Kenn"). I know it's rough to play back to back games. It certainly does tire the players. (I'll have to remember to thank Joey for tiring them out). We have had double headers with both teams in the last couple of seasons. We won both games in our double headers, but it is rough. I'm surprised it took so long for someone to mention how tired they must have been having just played another game.
It is certainly possible that there would be a different result the next time we meet. It is also possible that the United team has a stellar defense, and an offense that works well together and fights hard. Most of the team is new to the club and to the coach. They are all working hard to improve. I happen to think they are doing a great job and am quite proud of all of them. We know good and well that when we show up to a game, we will have to play our best game to win.......and we may get beat. Of course, as I mentioned previously, the Deleon team is a good team. I think the difference here is, that team doesn't seem want to acknowledge that there might be another team that may be able to beat them from time to time.

Which of the 13 were not there? They must have been sick or out of town. Our roster is 14. We have one that could not play this season and one returned to the team after taking the winter off and missed some of the early games for personal reasons. Neither of them are any of the 3 that play on both teams. So, maybe we only had 12 last time. But there were certainly not any "A" team players (or anything else) that aren't always there. Also, ALL 13 played today. Not just a select few and no players from other coaches.....all on our roster and all practice and play with the team every week.

Not sure what you mean. My DD plays on Deleon 7v7. If he had a 9v9, i would hope Id be on it. Seriously, im just going by what yall are saying that some of his players were helping out Doyle. I can not confirm that.

I agree!!! Y'all are a really good team! NO DOUBT!! I was glad to see y'all join the club! DTN is lucky to have another good team join up and I enjoy having a good team at skills!!

I do not think Deleon has a 9v9 team. As far as Deleon players playing on Saturday's for Doyle, I have only seen it once. I cannot speak for any other games than the one when we (Manchester) played Doyle two weeks ago in the 03 division. It was a GREAT game and a double header for both teams! Rough stuff!

I look forward to facing off again! We (United) need tough teams to get better.....and we still have a lot of getting better to do!!

That is correct FSUDad. We have claimed that in the past. So I guess we have to eat crow for a week or until the next time we are on the field.

Why don't you ask your coach why he doesn't work with deleon I'm not 100% sure but I think he has ask rosales for a guest player and it never happened so thats why he uses one of doyle's .

Nocry- Well when we played Doyle a few weeks ago I know 2 for sure of DeLeon's players (1 being his dd) helped out. Heard it was 3 but the other I myself can't confirm for sure. No big deal we don't care. If he has them playing to help further their development or get more touches. That is great! We don't complain but other's on this board sure do complain when it's not even their team involved.

Not true my friend. Download any forum like this and edit it in XML mode and the IP addresses are revealed. You need to d/l it with a browswer such as Chrome or Safari but PHP forums are encoded with all poster details with each little submission you make. You just need to be a total nerd to do it. I think maybe you missed my point. I have no complaints about other teams using guest players if they need to. I just wanted to set the record straight that we aren't using guests. I don't blame him one bit for using the player he uses. She is a great player and a sweet kid....and one of Doyle's best. She, along with the rest of the team, challenges us....and that's a good thing. We need to be challenged because we need to improve.

I won't be asking my coach anything. It's not my place. And I don't care where their guest players come from.

I just don't get why the some ppl on the team would be bad mouthing another team about something they themselves do? The Deleon team uses a top player from another DT team yet complains that they think we are doing the same (even though we aren't)? Hello pot, meet kettle.

The thing is, Deleon is a good team.....has been for a while now. They were good when they were TBG. They have a good coach. But just like the rest of us, they will win some and lose some. We all lose from time to time, for whatever reason. As long as the team is improving, who cares. They are 8, just let 'em play!

He certainly seems to be just that. He is also correct that most of this is quite childish. But hey, parents are passionate about their kids I guess.

The United team (as it is today) was established immediately following the fall season. Most girls were already playing for Rosales. Several came from another academy team after the fall wanting to play on that team with a former teammate and for Coach Rosales. Since then, the team has only added one player (during the winter season), who also came for the purpose of playing for Coach Rosales. I'm certainly not arguing anything regarding player disbursement, I know nothing about it. Were you guys with DT immediately following the fall season? Is DT supposed to break up an existing team for the purpose of disbursement? - Serious question. Not trying to antagonize at all.

I was at the game and I'm not sure which play you are talking about. I only saw one play when a Deleon player stayed down (as opposed to popping back up pretty quickly) and it was her leg that was effected, not her throat. I did not hear our parents cheering for that at all. Our girls are most definitely NOT taught to throw elbows. I would hope it was an accidental incident. Our parents do not encourage "dirty" play. If anyone cheered while someone was down, that is inexcusable, no question. I will say that is not at all like our parents and it is possible that they were cheering for a play without realizing that something like that had happened or that someone was hurt. I hope she was not injured.

What is amusing about Master B. stoking the fire here is this is precisely what his beloved LW did with Dalglish, Keegan, and RASE last year - shared a few players across his teams. Master B. you were ok with it back when LW did it, why is it an issue for you if AR does this now? At least with AR these three were rostered on both teams - LW didn't even do that.

Nocrying - kudos to you for recognizing it isn't worth looking like a sore loser like melamammas and ms.m. You guys have a good team and I expect that will be proven again as summer tourneys play out.

melamammas and ms.m - Looks like you might be the new challengers for the team with the most whiny parents and most excuses after a loss award given to moosh98 and go99 last year. Add DT77dad to the mix and you guys are certainly a strong contender... Congrats!
