This is pretty easy after recent scrimmages.

1. FCD Grubb- by a mile
2. Higg
3. Colvin
3. Dynamo
3. South
All 3 teams are close. Could win on any given day. Higg a bit better than those three, but could lose to them if didn't play well.
6. GIO
7. Fever
8. Sting
9. Feet
10. Renfro- lost two key players, so they drop.

Watch for Powers Andromeda!

FC Dallas Grubb-still the team to beat and everybody is trying to be like them
DT Higgy- a little bit unknown but should be better than Solar Colvin
SRSA Colvin-recent loss to Dfeeters and defections weakened a very good team
Dynamo- solid team at every position with great possession geam and is getting better. May be top 3 by the time of QT
Gio-strong defense and midfield. Defense may get better
Sting- solid team but still need better passing and defense

6-11 are:
FC Renfro-good midfield but suspect defense especially on the long ball
Fever- strong midfield and offense but lack of speed on defense. Has consistently improved during the spring season
Waco Blast- good offense with one great player but not enough to play with the top teams where defense is solid. Defense is a weakness of this team
Liverpool- solid team but need time for the passing game to develop. This team has potential to gel and move up after the first select year.
Saints Priddy- solid team but the weakness is lack of speed
D'Feeters- recent defections on defense and goalie put this team at the disadvantage when it comes to playing with the top teams. midfield is solid but lack of speed and skill on offense makes scoring difficult.
TFC Elite-good team with solid players at many positions. But a lack of a passing game prohibits this team from being very good. But may be a year of select soccer will help.

There will be teams that will surprise people that are being formed. After July 1 we will have a better idea of the composition of these teams. Stay tuned!!

I finally met the Vipers coach yesterday and watched them scrimmage.. Half of the team isnt even from around here, they have been playing boys for the past two years in California. The two sisters and their two cousins are absolute beast!! I watched them handle two top 01 boys teams yesterday whith little effort.. I don't know a lot about soccer but some big club somewhere ought to be trying to get this team!

Wow! Thats pretty impressive! I heard they are scrimmaging Higgy this weekend? Is that true? Could you imagine if FC Dallas and the Vipers joined forces? I'm going to get my popcorn ready!

They will make a soccer team. It just will not be the one that they think it will be! Lol... the Vipers can't help you all with the road that the team is getting ready to travel down.

So who is running that FC Dallas team? Parents or Coach? I think the parents are! What a troubled group.

Any insight on who is defecting from FCD, would make for intersting conversation??

Scrimmages this weekend with Paid REFS:

FCD South vs Feet 1-2 Feet win
Good playing by both teams(FCD - former Polaris) Feet dominated most of game. Liked the Goalie from FCD, definitely stopped her share of attempts on goal; Feet had some new players who looked good on front line. FCD had a player at forward #10.

FCD vs DTSouth - 0-3 South win
Again good playing, but DTSouth was fresh; South had some better moves. South had power in front this game. But to add to that FCD had no subs. and this was their second game in my opinion played a part on this game result.

DTSouth vs Feet 3-2 South win
South/ Feet Game was tied 2-2 until last minute of game. Pretty evenly played most of game. Seems Feet has attracted some new talent: Have to say I wasn't giving them the credit they deserve.


All in all a great mini-tourney. Each team had some guest players, my DD was one of them. So from an outside perspective, I liked what I saw.

Sooo FCD Rangel only has 11 players? Interesting!!!! Mayne they should ask the vipers for some help.

Vipers 15- FCD-South 2

Great game up until 5 min in. This is the first of many teams the Vipers will take down this season. Can't wait for king tut.

I heard the Rangel team only had 9 players for the scrimmage, and 2 were rec players because they could get a full team on the field!!!!

Well if that is the case then a pretty impressive showing by them to keep the matches that close. MP FC what is your roster looking like?

Dont know how true it is but I talked to a parent from FCD and she said " they had six starters out on vacation and were using an eight year old girl and girl who hasn't played soccer in over a year " she also mentioned that one girl had a broken foot and one had a stomach virus. If that's the case I would say they held their own!

That statement is very true.

Well I know all three teams had starters out...but defeet looked good...I was impressed with that front line..one new girl was a stud at forward and south had a stud as well...and stud goalie for fc..good scrimmages..
