I took out DT Moreno until they can fill a team. With only half a team and rumors spreading after Michael Brown Tournament. Hope they stay together, but until they can roster their own team I feel they will dissolve and fill in other teams. Just my opinion.

Here is my opinion on where teams should be ranked. I think some have Polaris at this time ranked to high. I commend them for their great showing this weekend but they only won the silver bracket. They haven't played the top 10 teams and won. This weekend will be their test. If they do well then I think they might just need to move on up. I moved Moreno down with all the up in the air with this team I am not sure they will be able to make games in a few weeks let alone be a team. I think TX Spirit needs to move up for winning against LP. LP StJohn losing to TX Spirit in the finals and tying LP Dalglish drops them in my rankings. LP StJohn should have won hands down. I moved Sting up into the top 10. I think with all their new addition this team is going to move on up.

This weekend will shake up the bottom 5 and down. It will be a very interesting weekend that is for sure.

Polaris beat a wounded DT Moreno team 1-0 right? Throwing a bunch of guests on a team with a brand new coach in charge does not make it the same team that earned spot #6. Where do you think Polaris should rank? #1? #2?

In the human rankings posted today Rangel seems to fluctuate the most anywhere from 6 to 12. Anyone with ideas as to why the different thoughts on this team?

Fever Red fluctuates from 6 to 10 as well.

I am not trying to take anything away from Polaris because I really like their parents and coach and am really impressed how far they have come and think they are diffently a top ten team. BUT....At the Moreno game there were two new players and two higg players including the goalie at that game NOT 4-5 field players.

6. Defeeters (no clear slots IMHO 6 - 10 but Feet have good potential, rumor is need 2 players...)
7. Polaris (giving a lot of credit for one 1-0 result and good silver tourneys in a row - need to win it all this next weekend to stay here)
8. Liverpool St John (clinging on but might be falling soon - not sure where they are at after Liverpool move)

Good Commentary Dirk. I know tat we don't see a lot of the Dynasty team, bu they are really good and I thinj they will move up into the top 20. I think they will win the silver bracket in the Freedom Cup this weekend.

Not trying to be a homer here, but I think Liverpool Dalglish needs to be at least in the top 30. (My daughter plays for Liverpool but not this team). If it weren't for that bogus call in the box, they would have beat Rangel this weekend. That should amount for something. I think they can beat or easily challenge anyone in the 20s. 10-20 will be hard fought but it will be close in my opinion. Anywho... time will tell... those girls are working hard and have an excellent coach to get them there. Some new additions from teams in the top 30 definitely helped. This is going to be a great tourney and a great Spring season!

Not sure the outcome of this weekend's tournament will matter much given the funcky seedings but the head to head games will. Dynamo and DT South would be expected to beat Polaris and Fever so not sure you could drop either team in rankings given they are playing higher ranked opponents. That being said, I think both games will be excellent soccer and the outcomes potentially surpising. If any of the top 8 in gold lose to any other teams then yes it should impact their ranking. The Lubbock team is tough and scrappy and could possible give Dynamo and Polaris fits in that bracket. Sting Dunstan plays good soccer as well so could be a dark horse for a spoiler in that bracket but Fever and South probably too much. Hopefully it won't rain this thing out so we can see how it unfolds.
