You said a mouthful but you're unfortunately barking up the wrong tree. I know exactly who totalsoccer is (and he knows me). Kids have played together. I know good and well he's not just a parent. He's an A licensed coach. I pull his chain all the time because I know he's not going to jump off a cliff over a post on the internet. He's a big boy. He can handle it.

And another thing. Tiki-taka sucks. The novelty is gone. Nobody wants to see 75% possession with 70% backwards and square passes. Hopefully the world will get back to playing real football before tiki-taka kills the game. Please don't take that as cynical, defensive, aggressive, logical or fair. Lighten up Francis.

LOL Yes New homes does sound so much better. I have learned not to take it to serious on these forums....And cant wait to see what our new "home " will do when its game-time.. Next week we shall see..

Just wanted to add that my daughter was in Red, Hot and Blue this weekend...and Lake Highlands had reps there on FRI and SAT. I know this as they were wearing LHGCL shirts and sitting on the sidelines with the parents (spoke casually with two of them). Also saw them speaking w/ some 02 coaches.

So, maybe KT & Puma aren't the end-all...be-all of the seeding process. Just saying...

Ok all you old QT pro's out there. Can anyone enlighten us on what is the determining factor to make it to the second weekend of QT?

A long time ago, when my first DD went through this, it was the top 5 teams automatically qualify for D1 after the first weekend. And the bottom 5(?) were automatically eliminated after the first weekend. The remainder played the second weekend.

What happened last year? Can anyone shed some light?

Top 12 from each bracket automatically are D1.

Bottom 5 fourth place teams with fewest points will be eliminated after week 1.

So the 12 bracket winners are one weekend and done.
All 2nd place bracket teams will advance to week 2.
All 3rd place bracket teams will advance to week 2.
The best 4, 4th place team (based on points) will advance.
Lowest 5 4th place teams are eliminated.
